As the sun rose and the moon set, the second day arrived.
Inside Jean's office.
Venti, Jean, Diluc, Paimon, and Lumine were chatting here.
Before long, Ye Yun, Welt, Stelle, and March 7th emerged from within.
"Morning, everyone." Ye Yun waved and greeted Venti and the others.
Paimon waved back.
"Morning, Ye Yun, and Stelle, March, Mr. Welt."
Jean and the others greeted them as well.
After exchanging greetings, everyone got down to business.
Yesterday, Lumine had told Ye Yun that they would be going to find Dvalin today.
Noelle happened to have arrived, so Ye Yun could come out and take a stroll instead of guarding the shop every day.
After considering it, Ye Yun decided to go with Lumine and the others to find Dvalin.
"What do you say? Shall we set off now?" Ye Yun asked.
Diluc, who had been leaning against the wall, straightened up.
"Let's go. We should finish this as soon as possible."
The group headed east, leaving Mondstadt City, passing through Windrise, and arriving at Starsnatch Cliff.
Rather than setting out on an expedition, they looked more like they were out for fun.
Stelle, Lumine, March 7th, and Paimon horsed around the whole way.
One moment they went into the water to catch fish; the next, they caught Slimes and kicked them around like footballs.
Stelle in particular had the most fun. She kicked an Anemo Slime, only to be blown flat by the Wind Field caused by its explosion.
At Starsnatch Cliff.
Venti took out the Sky Harp and played a tune, successfully drawing Dvalin over.
"Barbatos! Did you come with them to hunt me down?!"
Venti still wanted to explain.
"No, it isn't like that."
At that moment, an Abyss Mage appeared atop Dvalin's head and whispered into his ear.
"Poor
