Ye Yun initially entered Herta Space Station covertly as a merchant, seeking customers for the System’s vast catalog of goods. His first sale was to Stelle: she exchanged five Stellar Jades for Credits and purchased a Coin of Destiny. Completing this transaction rewarded Ye Yun with a Shop Card and High-tier Pathfinder-level Imaginary Energy. He then chose the Astral Express as the ideal location for a permanent shop because of its access to many worlds and potential Stellar Jade sources 1.

The Express Crew approved his request to rent a carriage after judging him sincere and non-hostile. Using the Shop Card, Ye Yun converted the carriage into an upscale restaurant-shop with an open kitchen, bar, booths, dining table, and a refrigerator containing a pocket dimension 7. His business later expanded through Shop Teleportation Portals, allowing customers in locations such as Belobog and Mondstadt to access the Train directly 28 30.

During the Belobog crisis, Ye Yun supplied Natasha and the Underworld with food, mining equipment, and large quantities of material goods in exchange for Stellar Jade.
