Background / History

Kiana arrived at Ye Yun’s shop through an Another World Guest Invitation Letter and a Teleportation Portal. There, she reunited with Welt, whom she knew as “Teacher Welt,” and encountered an alternate Himeko; Welt explained that they came from parallel universes. Excited to hear that another Kiana became a powerful Valkyrie, she resolved to become Schicksal’s strongest Valkyrie herself 163.

Her first visits to the Train connected St. Freya Academy to Ye Yun’s shop. Kiana received a Teleportation Portal in her dormitory, enabling Theresa, Mei, Bronya, Himeko, and Fu Hua to bring supplies and resources between worlds 168 180 181.

Durandal later told Kiana that she was clone K423. The revelation initially devastated her, but Ye Yun helped her recognize that her memories, experiences, and bonds make her an independent person rather than a replacement for anyone else 254. Kiana subsequently tried to communicate with Sirin, with whom she shares a body, but an unexplained Valkyrie-like presence in her mind attacks Sirin whenever Sirin considers responding 259.

Kiana is a white-haired girl who wears her hair in a ponytail. On arriving at the shop, she wore a tight battle suit suited to her role as a Valkyrie 163.

Personality

Kiana is energetic, impulsive, and highly expressive. She enthusiastically introduces herself to strangers, eagerly embraces new games and worlds, and is quick to imitate anything she thinks looks cool—such as Stelle’s self-given title or March 7th’s attempt to remain standing during Warp 163 170 176.

She is playful and prone to teasing those close to her, especially Bronya, Theresa, and Himeko. Her humor can get her into trouble, including insulting all three during introductions and receiving a bump on the head in return 169 181.

Despite her childish competitiveness and love of showing off, Kiana is compassionate in battle. She restrained her full strength while eliminating an Antimatter Legion fleet to avoid harming civilians below, and she later took responsibility for watching Kevin when Theresa asked her to do so 348 604.
