With that, the two turned and went back inside, as though they had done nothing worth mentioning.

He checked Liu Erlong's breathing, then examined her injuries. Once he discovered that her cheek was merely badly swollen and that she had only been knocked unconscious, with no danger to her life, the heart hanging in his throat finally settled.
