The Truth Is Only One

There were some problems here.

Based on the plot, there were two possibilities.

The first possibility was this.

After Hashirama Senju's death, while Tobirama Senju was succeeding him as Hokage, the Uchiha Clan had been dissatisfied with the arrangement, leading to internal conflict.

However, the Uchiha Clan had grown accustomed to peaceful days. They had no reason to rebel.

Unless—

Tobirama Senju had deliberately stirred up trouble.

But he wasn't that foolish.

The other possibility was this.

After the First Shinobi World War ended, Tobirama Senju had died in battle. Having once again missed out on the Hokage Position, the Uchiha Clan had resented Hiruzen Sarutobi's succession and begun trying to seize the Hokage Position.

For some reason, though, the struggle had eventually turned into an internal conflict.

In Uchiha Tenshu's opinion, this was the most likely explanation.

After all, only a position as supreme as Hokage could drive the Uchiha Clan to such madness.

Especially for the Uchiha.

It meant a great deal.

After all, according to the promise made when the village was founded, the Hokage was supposed to come from the Uchiha Clan.

But Tobirama Senju, who was better at winning people over, had sown discord and rallied support, snatching the Hokage Position away from them.

But when the Second Hokage was also a member of the Senju Clan, the Uchiha Clan began to grow dissatisfied.

Did it matter whether the Hokage was Tobirama Senju?

What mattered was that someone from the Senju Clan was still in the position.

Even if there was a trap hidden in the arrangement, the power it offered was still a significant benefit. This showed that Tobirama Senju didn't want to fight the Uchiha Clan to the death and destroy the village.

The Uchiha Clan had been safe up to this point.

Then—

The turning point—

Should have been the First Shinobi World War.

During the First Shinobi World War, the Senju Clan suffered heavy losses. Their last top-tier ninja, Tobirama Senju, died in battle, instantly reversing the balance of power between the Uchiha and Senju Clans within Konoha. Even Hiruzen Sarutobi, whom Tobirama Senju had appointed in haste, didn't become Hokage immediately after returning to the village. It took several more years.

And during that time,

The Uchiha Clan had probably fought for the Hokage Position, gradually setting off an internal conflict.

And the key factor behind it all had been the revelation of the forbidden technique, "Izanagi"!

"But Izanagi was kept within the clan under the watch of Elder Uchiha Raimon. There's no way such a forbidden technique could have been leaked, unless something happened that forced the Uchiha Clan to use Izanagi, or..."

Drawing on the plot from his previous life and what he'd experienced in this one, Uchiha Tenshu quickly pieced everything together.

And Raimon himself didn't believe that a strong enemy who came after the Uchiha Clan's "gold mine" would be without a trump card. That changed the outcome that, in the original history, would surely have ended with Uchiha Raimon's death.

Judging from the plot in his previous life,

The Izanagi scroll

Would inevitably end up in the Uchiha Clan's hands at the right moment, triggering an internal conflict within the clan.

The key point was that if you looked at who benefited most in the end, you could identify the mastermind.

Apart from the Hokage faction, there was basically no one else.

Add to that the ambush by the Tsuchigumo Clan, "Konoha's" ally,
