"Ah, I hope the clan never has to use this fallback plan. If it comes to that, who knows how many people will have to sacrifice themselves?"

Uchiha Raimon sighed. "After all that, both sides had finally let go of their hatred, and now they're fighting again!"

"Could even a ninja like Hashirama Senju, the God of Shinobi, not get his own clan to put aside its hatred?"

For a moment, Uchiha Raimon was overcome with melancholy.

Peace was something they had all yearned for, yet now they were about to shatter it with their own hands. It was utterly inconceivable.

seven-year-old Uchiha Tenshu shook his head like a little adult, his face full of helplessness. "My dear Elder Raimon, how can you not understand?"

"Our job is to be prepared for battle at all times, wherever we are. Besides, compared to the Senju Clan, who call themselves the Clan of Love, our Uchiha Clan is the true Clan of Love! Uchiha Tenshu pointed toward the Hokage Building, shrugged, and spoke with open disdain.

"Not to mention, they'd clearly agreed to give the position of Hokage to the Uchiha Clan. Then his younger brother, Tobirama Senju, deliberately used underhanded schemes, buying off and winning over the other minor clans with favors. He turned the Hokage, established by the two clans, into a Hokage backed by everyone—only then did it count as a true Hokage."

"What does that even mean? Two clans that had been sworn enemies for a thousand years reconciled in pursuit of a lofty ideal, and then he pulled off this whole web of schemes. It may look like he got what he wanted, but in reality, he left the village with an endlessly disgusting darkness. Sooner or later, Tobirama Senju's actions will bring a huge backlash down on the Senju Clan!"

"Bah!" Uchiha Tenshu made a spitting gesture toward the Hokage Office Building.

"Not to mention that this scoundrel once tried to persuade Elder Uchiha Ming to betray your whereabouts, so they could ambush and assassinate you. In short, they never intended to reconcile. So, Lord Raimon, we must stay alert and prepare in advance! It'll be too late once they're ready!"

"You're right! We can't let our guard down. It's just that Hashirama Senju, the God of Shinobi, is in Konoha right now. All we can do is endure and prepare other ways out!"

Uchiha Raimon admitted it.

Uchiha Tenshu sounded more and more certain. "Just wait and see! The Second Hokage's position will definitely be snatched up by someone from the Senju Clan again! And they'll appoint him directly. There won't be any selection involving the other clans!"

"As for the claim that the Hokage needs everyone's approval, that's utter nonsense! All the other clans are nothing but irrelevant spectators. They have absolutely no real say in the matter." Uchiha Tenshu spoke with disdain, as if he looked down on the other clans and held them in contempt.

Uchiha Tenshu continued, "But since they chose the path of making the Hokage someone everyone approved of, now they have to bear the consequences. It was their own choice. They have no one else to blame."

Uchiha Tenshu's words carried an air of confidence and arrogance, as if he didn't care in the slightest what the other clans thought. He even mocked them, believing their presence was just for show and served no real purpose.

To be honest, if the Senju Clan hadn't always been there as their mortal enemy,

the Uchiha Clan would have wiped out ninety percent of the clans in the Ninja World long ago.

But that Senju Clan was a real pain in the neck. No matter what the Uchiha Clan tried to do, they always stood up to them.

And all they ever talked about was understanding, love, and peace.

It was utterly absurd.

Like a bunch of lunatics.

And what happened in the end?

What came of it?

They helped the other clans fight the Uchiha, only for those same clans to wipe out their own clan first.

Come to think of it,

if you went by the original story, the Uchiha Clan seemed to have survived several decades longer than the Senju Clan!

Yeah! Most of the years when the Uchiha Clan had an easy time were spent opposing some of the village's decisions.

Despite that hostility, the clan hadn't been wiped out.

Then they chose to improve relations with Konoha.

And within a few years, they were wiped out.

It really was laughable.

Meanwhile,

ever since Uchiha Tenshu had gradually redirected Uchiha Raimon's attention from Konoha Village to the world outside it, Raimon's focus had begun to shift. He no longer devoted himself as he once had to affairs within Konoha, hoping that the clan and Konoha Shinobi Village could live together in peace.

To encourage further investment,

Uchiha Tenshu decided to reveal a little of Konoha Village's internal situation to Uchiha Raimon.

One reason for doing so was to strengthen Uchiha Raimon's resolve and make him trust his own judgment even more.

Another was to let Uchiha Raimon see for himself the true face of Konoha Shinobi Village, a place that had only just been established.

Under Uchiha Tenshu's skillful persuasion,

Elder Uchiha Raimon abandoned all hope and began discussing plans to leave with Uchiha Tenshu.
