The Hive

Several torches fell from the sky, igniting the gasoline streaming down below. Blazing flames surged upward, and countless zombies were completely consumed by the fire. The entire circular base building was engulfed in flames, like a burning torch piercing the night sky over Raccoon City.

Endless flames poured down at an angle, swallowing the rushing horde of zombies.

As the flames soared into the sky, Alice boldly leaped down and slid along the zip line. Xiao Hen knew that Alice's target was Isaac. He knew the original Plot: after going down, Alice would defeat the Korean commander who had come with Isaac, but Isaac would escape. After that, before the arrival of two massive zombie armies, they would infiltrate The Hive and obtain the Antivirus Agent mentioned by the Red Queen. Once released, it could spread through the air and purify all those infected with the T-Virus and G-Virus.

I can't let that happen. Xiao Hen understood that if the enhanced virus he needed was destroyed, this trip would have been for nothing.

Having made up his mind, Xiao Hen left the base amid the chaos. He slowly climbed down along the enormous Nuclear Bomb Crater at the edge of the base. Luckily, he had brought a rope of seemingly endless length. Otherwise, as an ordinary person, he really would not have been able to climb down.

Xiao Hen quickly followed the road and soon reached the entrance to The Hive. The surroundings had already been severely damaged, and Xiao Hen could only barely determine the route based on the original Plot.

The Red Queen should be watching me right now, shouldn't she? Xiao Hen fell silent for a moment before continuing onward. However, he no longer followed the ventilation shaft through which Alice and the others had entered in the original Plot. There were too many traps inside, and if Xiao Hen entered, he would certainly die.

He crouched behind a pile of rocks, calculated the distance and terrain, then waited silently.

After Xiao Hen left, Alice and the others indeed defeated the Korean commander brought by Isaac. They then discovered that two massive zombie armies were about to arrive. In order to find the Antivirus Agent before the zombie armies arrived, Alice and the others discussed it and began advancing into The Hive.

The journey had gone fairly smoothly at first, but just as they were about to reach the ventilation shaft, they were discovered by The Hive's internal surveillance system. Albert Wesker issued an order, stripping the Red Queen of control and directly taking command of The Hive's weapons system. He released zombie dogs to attack Alice and the others.

Under pursuit from the zombie dogs, Alice and the others ultimately escaped and entered the ventilation shaft. However, many people died inside it, including important members such as Abigail.

Just as Alice and Claire successfully entered The Hive, Xiao Hen emerged from behind the pile of rocks. He tightened his grip on his firearm and slowly walked forward.

An armored vehicle slid down from the stone wall ahead. Xiao Hen's eyes lit up. He knew that the person inside was Dr. Isaac, but not the real Dr. Isaac.

Like Alice, this Dr. Isaac, who fought desperately for his life, was merely a clone. His true self was hiding inside The Hive. This was the opportunity Xiao Hen had been waiting for.

Perhaps working with Isaac would be a good choice, provided this Isaac Clone knows what's good for him...

Xiao Hen's expression remained calm as he stepped forward. He knew this would be extremely difficult and dangerous. Dr. Isaac had always been a very dangerous figure. Even his clone, though dozens of times weaker than the original, still possessed a clever mind and respectable combat skills.

The armored vehicle crashed down with a rumble, drawing the attack of countless zombies. Dr. Isaac naturally would not remain inside the stalled vehicle and wait to die. After climbing out, he quickly fled.

From Dr. Isaac's escape route, it was clear how familiar he was with the terrain. After emptying the bullets from his gun, Isaac viciously threw it aside and prepared to flee deeper into The Hive.

At that moment, Xiao Hen approached with a gun in hand.

"Dr. Isaac, I think we have a deal to discuss." Xiao Hen pointed his gun at Isaac's forehead and spoke calmly.

Though he sounded relaxed, Xiao Hen was actually a little nervous. Who was Isaac? He was the ultimate villain of this Resident Evil, with influence far greater than even Albert Wesker. Wesker might have surpassed him in strength, but he was still under Isaac's control. The entire Umbrella was controlled by Isaac, even if the Isaac before him was only a clone.

"Who are you?" Isaac asked coldly. A chilling glint flashed beneath his lowered brows. Xiao Hen knew that Isaac would never tolerate being threatened, and he had no idea what vicious schemes were turning in the man's mind.

"I want to make a deal with Dr. Isaac, and incidentally take you to watch a show," Xiao Hen said.

"What deal?" Isaac naturally did not believe Xiao Hen's words, but Xiao Hen had a gun, so he could only play along.

"The Hive is your territory, Doctor. I would like you to take me inside. That isn't too much to ask, is it?" Xiao Hen said.

"Fine!"

Isaac did not refuse this. Xiao Hen was right: the inside of The Hive was his territory. Once they got inside, he could order the Red Queen to eliminate this man at any time.

Xiao Hen sneered inwardly, but outwardly continued, "Dr. Isaac, the T-Virus developed by Dr. Marcus became extremely effective after your improvements. I want a vial of usable G-Virus Serum!"

"That's your request?" Isaac narrowed his eyes and asked uncertainly.

"Yes." Xiao Hen gently moved the muzzle of his gun away, showing his sincerity.

"Fine, I agree." After a brief consideration, Isaac agreed, though he sneered inwardly. G-Virus, hehe. I'd be more than happy to help you with that. Once you use the G-Virus, I'll have plenty of ways to control you.

Each harboring his own ulterior motives, Xiao Hen followed Isaac deeper into The Hive. He knew that Alice should be nearing the center of The Hive by now. There, Alice would encounter the true original, Alicia Marcus, the daughter of Marcus, who had developed the T-Virus. She was the true original Alice, and even the Red Queen was an artificial intelligence modeled after her childhood image.

With Isaac, who was familiar with the terrain, leading the way, the two soon reached an area near the center of The Hive.

There hasn't been any obstruction at all. That means the Red Queen is controlling the surveillance now. Wesker and Isaac Prime must be confronting Alice and Claire. After taking control of the surveillance, the Red Queen saw Isaac's greatest enemy, Isaac Clone, coming here. Instead of alerting the others, she silently erased the movement trails of Isaac Clone and me?

Xiao Hen's eyes flickered. All of this was merely speculation based on the original Plot he had seen, without the slightest evidence. Such an uncertain plan made him particularly uncomfortable.

While riding the elevator underground, Xiao Hen looked at Isaac and said, "Doctor, you should know who Alice's original is, right?"

Isaac was startled. Of course he knew who Alice's original was, but judging from this young man's expression, he seemed to know some of the real secrets as well. "What do you know?"

"Hehe, I told you I wanted to invite you to watch a show. That show should have already begun." Xiao Hen smiled, gripping his gun tightly. He looked relaxed, but inwardly he was more vigilant than anyone. "Once we leave the elevator, we'd better be careful. Alice and the others are already in The Hive's Main Control Room."

"What?" Isaac was shocked. Alice had already reached The Hive's Main Control Room. If he went there now, would he not be walking straight into his death?

Just as Isaac was about to make a move, he found a dark gun barrel pressed against his forehead. "Hey, be careful. Move your gun away!"

"I hope the Doctor will cooperate," Xiao Hen said with a smile.

"Of course, no problem." Isaac tugged at the corner of his mouth.

"Then let's go." Xiao Hen escorted Isaac out of the elevator. From the corner of his eye, he glanced at the surveillance camera above the corridor outside, and a realization dawned on him.
