Background

Zhuang Yichen is the youngest daughter of the Zhuang Group's founder. Unlike her two elder brothers, who were strictly raised to bear the family's responsibilities, she was extensively indulged by her parents and grew up without pressure to inherit the company. 309

When her parents arranged a marriage alliance with the son of a high-ranking S City official, Zhuang Yichen interpreted their decision as proof that their affection had been conditional.
