Watching the utterly baffled staff member, Chen Xu merely smiled without explaining.
Chen Xu naturally had his reasons for making that request.
And it was related to one of the two games Chen Xu planned to develop next.
After confirming some basic details with the staff, Chen Xu planned to grab something from the exhibition cafeteria, make do with a quick meal, then drive back to the company.
Just then, a somewhat familiar voice came from behind him. "Chen Xu, Nebula Games is attending this Gameplay Exhibition too?"
Chen Xu turned around and saw Meng Zuo, whom he had met once at last year's Sci-Fi Game Development Competition.
When NetDragon had wanted to acquire Nebula Games, Meng Zuo had been the one who contacted Chen Xu.
"Yeah, we were invited." Chen Xu smiled and nodded.
"Overcooked has performed exceptionally well. The Workshop added in the latest update, especially, was an inspired stroke of genius." Smiling, Meng Zuo opened with a round of business flattery.
Chen Xu was slightly taken aback by Meng Zuo's words, unable to understand why the man was being so enthusiastic.
Instinctively, Chen Xu wanted to return the business compliments.
After all, if someone praised you, you had to return the favor, right?
But as soon as that thought arose, Chen Xu realized something rather awkward: he had absolutely no idea what games Meng Zuo had developed since the Sci-Fi Game Development Competition.
"Mm... Teacher Meng, you're doing great too! The third chapter of Galaxy Heroes was exceptionally good!" After pausing for two or three seconds, Chen Xu smiled and offered some praise.
That sounded awfully familiar. Meng Zuo froze for a moment before realizing why.
Wait! Wasn't that exactly what Chen Xu had said when they exchanged business compliments at last year's Sci-Fi Game Development Competition?
