Because he moved at such incredible speed, it was impossible to keep up with him without making the slightest sound.
Yet the young man behind him had done exactly that. It was utterly bizarre.
Nothing was more unnerving than a sudden silence. The two stood ten meters apart, staring at each other.
"Slaughter King, long time no see." Jiang Chen grinned.
Tang Chen's expression turned grim. "So it's you, Blood Demon."
Blood Demon was the title Jiang Chen had borne in Slaughter City. He had not chosen it himself; others had given it to him because of his bloodthirsty methods.
"Are you here to kill me too, like Asura King?" Tang Chen fixed Jiang Chen with an icy gaze.
Jiang Chen shrugged. "Whether I kill you or not doesn't matter. My goal is to defeat you. As for that Asura King, I'm not on his side."
Tang Chen warily swept his gaze over the surroundings. He found it hard to believe that Jiang Chen had come alone to stop him.
Jiang Chen smiled. "Don't worry. I came for a fair fight with you. I'm alone."
Tang Chen's eyes flickered. "In that case, how about we shake off that Asura King first, then have a fair fight?"
"Fine." Jiang Chen agreed at once.
He did not want Tang San interfering in the battle between himself and Tang Chen either.
If Tang San had not left by the time he dealt with Tang Chen, Jiang Chen would not mind experiencing the methods of Tang San and the others.
Tang Chen snorted coldly. "I don't have a habit of entrusting my back to others."
Jiang Chen chuckled and stepped forward, stopping ten meters to Tang Chen's left.
Tang Chen glanced at Jiang Chen, and a trace of ferocity flashed through his eyes.
Any
