They set off on an adventure aboard the Pirate Ship. The scenery was stylish, even recreating the smell of dirt. When they saw the captain resurrect from a skeleton into human form,
let alone Ling, who was not yet a technologist—even Fang Ran was briefly amazed.
Then the sights before them became breathtaking, seamlessly blending illusion and reality!
They followed sharks down into the ocean depths, where a glowing sunken pirate ship, a giant squid spewing black ink,
mermaids, gold treasures, a shark-headed first mate, and an octopus-tentacled captain appeared. Then all the wrecked ships crashed through the surface, launching into battle beneath the twilight sky!
Finally, they escaped dangerously through a hole in one ship amid leaking water, collapsing structures, and violent shaking.
"How was that? Super fun, right, Ling!"
After the pirate experience ended, Fang Ran spoke excitedly to Ling, only to find her looking somewhat dazed. Though she was still thrilled and excited, there was now a quiet happiness in her nod.
"Mm, it was fun!"
Fang Ran froze for a moment, then chuckled and took her hand again.
"Come on, let's go try something else!"
They headed for the next attraction. Though there were not especially many people, they still had to wait dozens of minutes in line.
Fang Ran wondered how the Prophet had managed to get them a couple's ticket with FastPass access to every attraction.
But thanks to that,
the black-haired young man led the young girl around, taking photos together, trying popcorn and chicken wings, and constantly enjoying one attraction after another.
Only, compared to the beginning, their roles seemed to have switched.
The young girl, who had originally been curious and excited about modern things and fairy-tale parks, grew quieter and quieter. Meanwhile, the young man beside her became increasingly animated.
