Tokyo Travelogue of Two Scaredy-Cats (Part 1)

"I say, Yota."

"Ugh... what is it, Fang Ran?"

On the rooftop of a building, unlike the colorful facade, the unlit terrace was dark and dim.

Fang Ran was currently squatting there, staring serenely at the streets below, packed with traffic and crowds alike. Then he suddenly asked expressionlessly,

"Why are we squatting here right now?"

Yota, hugging his knees beside him and practically on the verge of tears, wore a miserable expression.

"Isn't it all your fault, Fang Ran?! You insisted on dragging me out here! Now what are we supposed to do?!"

At Fang Ran's question, Yota immediately grabbed his shoulders and shook him, crying out as though he were about to break down.

"How is that my fault?! You said we could get there with spatial teleportation! I thought it was somewhere in Magic City, maybe a nearby city at most! But who the hell knew that shut-in."

Fang Ran, being violently shaken on the rooftop by Yota, also shouted in frantic exasperation.

"Was actually in Tokyo!!!!!!"

The view suddenly pulled back, revealing a magnificent international metropolis of glittering lights and brilliant colors beneath the boundless black Night Sky.

Streams of headlights flowed along the warm orange streets. The rooftops of towering skyscrapers glowed crimson, dazzling violet, and faint blue, dense halos of light bleeding into one another between buildings that stretched beyond sight.

Pure white brilliance, seductive pale pink.

Dense high-rises blanketed the earth, while Tokyo Tower stood out in its scarlet glow. Once the sky had lost every trace of light and night had fully fallen,

all kinds of colors reached their most dazzling peak beneath the utterly dark sky!

This was Tokyo!

The largest and most prosperous city in all of Asia!

And now, two scaredy-cats who had never been here before had appeared,
