Shinjuku.

One of Tokyo's 23 special wards, and one of the most famous bustling commercial districts in Tokyo—and indeed all of Japan.

Unlike Ginza, with its luxury Big brands suited for wealthy people over twenty-eight, or Harajuku, with its trendy street brands suited for wealthy second-generation rich kids under twenty-four.

In short, unlike places that people without money should avoid whenever possible.

Shinjuku was packed with all kinds of large shopping malls, clothing stores, department stores, electronics shops, beauty stores, drugstores, and more.

It was a shopping destination for every kind of person. Everything was available here, and among its countless varied storefronts, you could find anything you wanted or needed. It was a place you absolutely had to visit if you came to Tokyo.

"Say, Fang Ran, where are we going? Are we looking for Sister Cheng Zi?"

Yota, who rarely even went shopping in Magic City—or, more simply put, basically never left the house—looked at the bustling, sprawling Tokyo and suddenly felt utterly lost, with nowhere to belong. He could only follow closely behind Fang Ran.

Timidly, he looked at the illuminated skyscrapers and the passing cars and pedestrians on both sides of the road beneath the night sky.

"Before that."

Hearing his question, Fang Ran turned to look at Yota, who had been dragged out by him while still wearing pajamas, with messy hair and huge black-rimmed glasses. His expression was rather complicated as he answered.

"First, we need to find a shop and fix you up. You look like you've been holed up at home for a month without stepping outside. Hm? Just found one."

Watching Fang Ran act like he knew the way, Yota hesitantly asked in a small voice.

"Fang Ran, isn't this your first time here too...?"

"Don't worry about details like that.
