Danzo Appears

Yun Xi's face lit up with sheer delight when he saw Karin after her enhancement was complete!

Having gained a tremendous amount of vitality, Karin had grown from barely four feet three inches tall to five feet seven.

Her entire body had matured, and she had grown in every way.

After seeing how much she had changed, Karin was utterly shocked.

The Jonin slowly walked over and stopped Yun Xi.

Then, in a completely emotionless voice, he said, "This is a restricted area of Konoha. Unauthorized personnel are not permitted to enter."

Yun Xi smiled at the sight.

"Looks like Danzo doesn't know I'm here to see him after all."

At first, Yun Xi had assumed that, since he'd killed those Root Division ninjas, Danzo must have received the news.

But then he reconsidered. Danzo still thought he was just an ordinary civilian.

Yun Xi had shown some talent before, but in Danzo's eyes, he clearly wasn't much of a threat.

Besides, the Uchiha Clan Downfall Incident had happened just yesterday. Danzo had even less reason to concern himself with Yun Xi and Karin.

And these Root Division ninjas clearly weren't here because of Yun Xi and Karin.

Yun Xi figured they were on their way to carry out some other mission.

"Who are you to dare speak Lord Danzo's name?"

The Root Division Jonin standing beside Yun Xi had heard his contemptuous words.

His expression immediately changed, and a hint of murderous intent appeared in his eyes.

To the Root Division ninjas, Danzo was their god.

In their hearts, his status was even higher than that of the Third Hokage!

And this brat dared to mock Lord Danzo like that?

"I was only going to kick you out, but now you've made me want to kill you, brat!"

As soon as the Root Division Jonin finished speaking, he kicked at Yun Xi!

He wasn't using any ninjutsu, but he knew exactly how strong he was.

He could do more than hurt some ordinary kid.

As the Root Division Jonin prepared to counterattack with ninjutsu, Yun Xi flung him away.

The force sent him crashing straight into the wall.

A cloud of dust billowed up...

After dealing with the Jonin, Yun Xi looked as though nothing had happened.

He even dusted off his hands, as if he'd just tossed away a bag of garbage...

"Quick, report to Lord Danzo! We've got an enemy attack!"

The Root Division ninjas who had been standing by, ready to watch, sprang into action.

They hadn't seen when Yun Xi struck.

But with their extensive combat experience, they knew better than to underestimate him!

At the sight of what had happened, the Anbu ninjas who had surrounded Yun Xi split into two groups.

One group stayed behind to keep watch over Yun Xi, Karin, and Pikachu.

The other hurried back into the Root Division.

They intended to report what had happened to Danzo.

"Yun Xi, should we help?"

Seeing the Root Division ninjas readying themselves, Karin spoke up.

She wanted to test her new strength, too.

"No need."

When Yun Xi saw that Karin was about to step in, he held her back.

Those Root Division ninjas were nothing but a bunch of nobodies to him.

He was waiting for Danzo!

"It's you?"

About ten minutes later, Danzo finally came out.

A hint of surprise appeared on his usually placid face.

Although Danzo had never met Yun Xi in person, he had seen a photograph of him back when the Third Hokage first met with him.

Earlier, when one of his subordinates reported that someone was causing trouble at the Root Division's entrance, Danzo hadn't thought much of it.

But after hearing that a Root Division Jonin had been taken down in an instant,

he had come out to investigate.

What Danzo hadn't expected was that Yun Xi was the one causing trouble!

"Heh, you finally came out, you old dog!"

As soon as Danzo appeared, Yun Xi stepped forward.

He stared straight at Danzo and let his murderous intent pour out without restraint!

"You want to kill me?"

Feeling Yun Xi's murderous intent, Danzo's scarred face twisted into a sneer.

"But plenty of people have wanted me dead. I wonder if you'll succeed."

Danzo showed no sign of fear in the face of Yun Xi's murderous intent.

He was a top Jonin who had made a name for himself long ago. With his hidden trump cards, he could even stand against a Kage Level ninja.

Why would he fear a brat like Yun Xi?
