Land of Fire, Konoha Village.

At the first light of dawn, Takizawa Dan arrived at the training grounds to begin his daily workout.

Throwing kunai, kicking wooden stakes, practicing footwork...

A hearty greeting came from behind him.

The person who arrived was none other than Rock Lee; he was the only one who woke up as early as Takizawa Dan to train.

Takizawa Dan said firmly.

Rock Lee was stunned for a moment, then gave Takizawa Dan a thumbs-up: "Good! I believe in you, Dan. You can definitely do it!"

Afterward, Rock Lee found a spot nearby and began his training.

Takizawa Dan felt a stir in his heart; he walked over to Rock Lee and picked up the white fragment.

The fragment turned into a stream of white light and surged into Takizawa Dan's mind!

"Heh, isn't this Konoha's number one loser, Takizawa Dan, and the number two loser, Rock Lee? What's this, holding a loser's experience exchange meeting here?"

The person who arrived was a youth from the Hyuga clan named Hyuga Niuer, who relied on his status as a genin and his family's influence to bully Takizawa Dan every few days.

"You are not allowed to say that about Dan! Apologize immediately!"

Rock Lee stepped forward, intending to stand up for Takizawa Dan.

Takizawa Dan grabbed him by the arm: "Lee, it's fine, I don't mind. Don't lower yourself to his level, it's not worth it."

Because of his kekkei genkai, Hyuga Niuer was stronger than the commoner genin Rock Lee, and if a fight broke out, Rock Lee would likely come out on the losing end!

"Hahaha, you've got to be kidding! Takizawa Dan, who doesn't know you're Konoha's number one loser, someone who doesn't even have the qualifications to be a ninja? You're challenging me? Are you tired of living?"

Takizawa Dan's expression remained cold and motionless.

"Fine! Since you want to die, I'll grant your wish!"

Hyuga Niuer grinned hideously, raised his palm, and slammed it down toward the top of Takizawa Dan's head!

"Dan! Get out of the way!"

Rock Lee was frantic; Hyuga Niuer was going for the kill, and if that hit landed, Takizawa Dan would be dead or crippled!

Takizawa Dan, however, curled the corner of his lips.

His figure flickered, shifting with lightning speed!

Hyuga Niuer's palm strike missed completely.
