Ninja Academy Test

The next morning, after Lu Yu and Shikamaru finished breakfast, Shikaku grabbed one by each hand and headed toward the Konoha Ninja Academy.

Lu Yu was dragged along by Shikaku, feeling awkward, and couldn't help but mutter:

"Hey, Dad, I'm not a little kid anymore. Can you not hold my hand..."

Shikamaru, standing beside him, nodded in deep agreement:

"Exactly, Dad. We're all grown up now; it's really embarrassing if people see us like this..."

Shikaku looked at the two little ones and burst into laughter:

"What a rarity. You two are actually blushing."

Along the way, the brothers encountered many parents taking their children to the Konoha Ninja Academy, presumably all heading to the entrance exam.

Yamanaka Inoichi was bringing the adorable Ino, while Akimichi Choza was with the chubby Choji.

"Haruno Sakura, Hyuga Hinata, Inuzuka Kiba, Aburame Shino, Second Pillar, Uzumaki Naruto."

Compared to the others who were accompanied by their parents, Sasuke and Naruto stood out.

Sasuke was being dropped off by Uchiha Itachi, while Naruto was all alone...

Hyuga Hinata, who had been standing quietly among a group of girls without saying a word, suddenly caught a familiar figure in the corner of her eye.

It's him!

Seeing Lu Yu, Hyuga Hinata felt an inexplicable joy in her heart. She instinctively wanted to walk over, but after taking a single step, she pulled her foot back.

The proctor called out again.

"Here!"

With his signature blonde hair and familiar outfit, Uzumaki Naruto walked out of the crowd looking slightly flustered, but he quickly adjusted his mindset and cheered himself on:

"What's so hard about this? Bring it on!"

Uzumaki Naruto shouted passionately as he rushed onto the field.

Five minutes later...

"Uzumaki Naruto, Ninjutsu: 2 points, Shuriken: 1 point, Taijutsu: 2 points."

The proctor said with a cold expression, sounding like a completely different person compared to the excitement he showed when announcing Sasuke's scores.

Watching Uzumaki Naruto walk back looking dejected, a crowd of bratty kids couldn't help but laugh out loud.

With scores like these, it couldn't just be called failing; it was the classic definition of a dead-last...

Even so, the future Hokage's incredibly resilient heart forced him to digest the blow, and he managed to put on a strained smile.

"Next, Nara Lu Yu."

Lu Yu wore the signature clothing of the Nara Clan. His features were quite handsome, and compared to Shikamaru, he had a touch more maturity, yet also a hint of laziness, giving him an air of being completely devoid of fighting spirit.

Lu Yu sighed helplessly upon hearing his name.

Watching his older brother's listless appearance, Shikamaru whispered from the side:

"Big brother, just stop being modest and get a perfect score. If Mom is in a good mood tonight, maybe we can have hot pot again."

Lu Yu's eyes lit up at these words. That's right, he could eat meat...

If there was anything that tempted Lu Yu most at this stage, it was undoubtedly meat.
