It wasn't until a knock sounded at the door the next day that Uchiha Chen woke from his cultivation.
After a night of cultivation, the chakra inside Uchiha Chen had completely recovered and even increased a little. It wasn't much, but it was enough to show just how extraordinary this cultivation method was.
As for who was knocking, Uchiha Chen didn't even have to think about it. Aside from Tsunade, there was no one else.
Although he was a member of the Uchiha Clan, Uchiha Chen was also one of its marginal figures. He didn't have any friends, either. Fortunately, he had a house left behind by his parents, so at least he had somewhere to live.
He got up and opened the door. Just as he'd expected, it was Tsunade.
"Hmm? Your chakra has recovered already?"

"Lady Tsunade, why are you here again? Didn't I tell you I was already fine?"
Uchiha Chen didn't answer her question, instead asking one of his own.
"What, you don't welcome me?"
Tsunade narrowed her eyes. A "＃" mark appeared faintly on her forehead, and her right hand, held behind her back, quietly clenched into a fist.
Tsunade stared at Uchiha Chen. Clearly, unless he gave her a satisfactory answer, he wasn't going to have an easy day.
"Ahem, how could I possibly not welcome you, Lady Tsunade? It's just that I've been troubling you so much, and I feel a little embarrassed. Besides, I've completely recovered now, so I really shouldn't keep taking up your time."

Hearing Tsunade say this, Uchiha Chen raised an eyebrow, seeming a little interested.

She was practically impossible to kill!
If he could become Tsunade's equal or even surpass her in Medical Ninjutsu, his chances of surviving in this world would improve considerably!
At that thought, Uchiha Chen's eyes lit up. He looked up at Tsunade again and gave her a somewhat shy smile.
"I am interested in Medical Ninjutsu. If you don't mind, could I ask you to do me a favor, Lady Tsunade?"
As expected, besides asking me to take him as my student, what other choice does this Uchiha kid have?
Tsunade felt rather pleased with herself. Smiling, she nodded and replied,
"Of course!"
"Really?"
Uchiha Chen looked up in surprise.
"Of course!"
Seeing his reaction, Tsunade's smile grew even wider as she nodded again.
"If that's the case, Lady Tsunade, could you bring me a few medical books about Medical Ninjutsu?"
Uchiha Chen rubbed his hands excitedly and asked cautiously.
"Of course..."
Before she could finish saying "you can," the smile on Tsunade's face froze.
The Uchiha kid only wanted some medical books?
"Kid, is there nothing else you want besides medical books?"
"What? I can ask for more?"
Uchiha Chen blinked, unable to believe Tsunade was being so generous to him.
"Mm~"
Tsunade nodded, satisfied. She'd practically spelled it out for him. Surely the kid would understand?
"Then could I trouble you to bring me a few dozen medical books, Lady Tsunade?"
Uchiha Chen's eyes shone even brighter, leaving Tsunade staring at him in bafflement.
"Wait, when you said 'more'... that's all you meant?"
"Yeah, that's all..."
Now Uchiha Chen was confused, too. Tsunade had said he could ask for more, but now she looked as if she were angry.
Was his request really that unreasonable?

Tsunade held on to Uchiha Chen and raised an eyebrow. She'd practically said it outright by now...
"What?!"

But soon, it seemed he'd thought of something. His face turned red, and he lowered his head bashfully.
"Lady Tsunade, this... isn't very appropriate, is it? After all, we're so far apart in age..."
