The East Window Incident

After killing the ninjas at the entrance, Yin Xiang quickly retreated. If anyone came to the gate, the fact that an intruder had entered would be exposed, and sensory ninjas would begin searching Honey Flower Village for the infiltrator. Yin Xiang wanted to take out as many ninjas as possible before that happened.

Yin Xiang began to weave through Honey Flower Village. There were no longer any chunin left in the village; all that remained were two Anbu, two jonin, and twelve genin. Yin Xiang's goal for this trip was to eliminate these twelve genin, which would leave only five ninjas in the entire village, effectively rendering them completely defenseless.

"I don't know what's happening in the village. So many ninjas have gone out and never returned, yet we still have to patrol the streets." Yin Xiang stood on a rooftop as three genin passed by below.

"I have a feeling something big is about to happen. The village is very vulnerable right now."

"So many ninjas from the Land of Honey have been wiped out; who else could possibly come here? They must have gone out on some special mission." The three genin walked on below, and Yin Xiang quietly followed them.

Honey Shadow Building.

"What on earth is going on? Have the ninjas who went out not returned yet?" Xian Shadow sat in his chair, looking very anxious. Behind him stood two Anbu, and in front of him were two jonin, one of whom was the jonin Hekai, who had defected alongside Yamaha.

"There is absolutely no news from them. We sent so many people, and not a single one has returned," said the jonin beside Hekai.

"How is this possible... Are the Konoha ninjas really that strong?" Cold sweat dripped down Xian Shadow's forehead. If it were true that all the ninjas he had sent out had been killed, then his resistance would be meaningless. He had assumed that sending five jonin along with so many other ninjas would surely be enough to take down the Konoha ninjas, but now it seemed he had truly underestimated them.

"Our combat strength is now reduced to just the five of us... If the people from Konoha break in..." Hekai stood to the side, leaving his sentence unfinished, but all five people present understood. Even beneath the masks of the two Anbu, there were expressions of panic.

"Why would Konoha interfere in the affairs of our small nations! Damn it!" Xian Shadow slammed his fist onto the table in a rage. He couldn't understand it; the Land of Honey and the Land of Fire were thousands of miles apart. Why would Konoha ninjas come all the way here?

"The princess of the Land of Honey fled to Konoha earlier. I fear she is the one who hired the Konoha ninjas," the jonin beside Hekai said.

"Is there any other way?" Honey Shadow looked at the two men before him. He had only just conquered the Land of Honey, and nothing had stabilized yet. He had heard that something had happened in the Land of Filling as well, but communications had been completely cut off. Now, with this situation involving Konoha ninjas, he truly didn't know what to do.

"I fear the situation is beyond saving," Hekai shook his head. "That team of Konoha ninjas is truly lethal. They have killed two of our Anbu, three jonin, twelve chunin, and fifteen genin. It feels as if we are constantly feeding them people to kill; it's as if everything was planned by them."

Hekai's intuition was correct. They had fallen completely into Yin Xiang's trap. Although the arrival of a large group of ninjas had made Yin Xiang panic for a moment, recognizing the Third Hokage had acted as a sedative for him.

Back on Yin Xiang's side, he had already finished off those three genin in a small alleyway. He then transformed into the likeness of one of them and walked openly down the street, seeing if he could encounter any other ninjas.

Yin Xiang's attacks had never followed a set pattern. He transformed into people the targets were familiar with to lower their guard, and his strikes were so fast that his opponents couldn't even react. His Lightning Style Kunai attacks were swift and unexpected, and by striking from the shadows, he made it impossible for them to dodge. Someone like Yin Xiang was the type of ninja truly suited for survival in the dark.

Yin Xiang was not the type to rush in head-on like Naruto, nor was he like Sasuke, who had to show off before finishing an enemy, and he certainly wasn't like Sakura, who would shout "Go to hell!" before making a move. Yin Xiang didn't like to expose himself; he enjoyed the feeling of killing without a trace.

At the main gate, three ninja squads discovered the six genin who had been killed. They panicked, and after a brief discussion, they rushed off to report to Xian Shadow. Fearing that someone had infiltrated the village, they split into three groups. Unfortunately for one of them, he ran straight into Yin Xiang on the street.

"Sanzan! Sanzan! It's bad! The ninjas at the gate have all been killed, someone has infiltrated! Let's go to the Honey Shadow building!" The genin ran over, saw the person Yin Xiang had transformed into, and shouted.

"Are you the only one who saw it?" Yin Xiang asked, looking at him. "No, there are two others. We split into three groups to report. Hurry, come with me!" As the genin said this, he grabbed Yin Xiang's hand to pull him along. As he turned, Yin Xiang delivered a hand-blade strike to his neck, knocking him unconscious before dragging him into a corner to end his life.

Yin Xiang then went to hunt down the other two genin who were reporting; he had to catch them. Yin Xiang arrived directly beneath the Honey Shadow building. His speed was much faster than theirs, and by the time he arrived, two genin were just running up from different directions.

"Sanzan, why are you here? Hurry and come up with us!" one of the genin said as he passed Yin Xiang, then ran straight into the Honey Shadow building. The other genin didn't even pay attention to Yin Xiang and ran inside as well.

Yin Xiang turned around and threw two Lightning Style Kunai, instantly ending their lives. The two bodies tumbled down the stairs. With this, Yin Xiang had killed twelve of the eighteen genin, leaving only six remaining.

While these two genin were running over, they had encountered the other teams on the road. One of the teams included a sensory ninja who had already begun to scan the area, trying to find Yin Xiang, though Yin Xiang was not yet aware of this.

Yin Xiang dragged the two corpses into a corner beneath the stairs.

"Dead... people are dead!" Someone in the village walked to the spot where Yin Xiang had killed the three genin and began to scream. It immediately attracted the attention of the villagers, who gathered around, and the street quickly erupted into an uproar.

"What's going on outside?" The jonin beside Hekai noticed the movement of the people in the village outside the window and ran over. He saw many villagers gathering together. "Something seems to have happened in the village."
