The only problem was that the prices were anything but pretty.

As Uchiha Sora read the prices aloud, his teeth began to ache.
Wasn't this stuff way too expensive?
At least, it was beyond what he could afford right now.
Uchiha Sora wasn't worried, though.
At least he had a goal now. All he had to do was save up.
And there were plenty of ways to earn money.
Besides daily missions, he could also earn a large number of gold coins whenever he completed a task assigned by the system.
The amount would also be adjusted according to the level of technology he had currently unlocked.
Based on Uchiha Sora's prediction, the rewards from the next major incident should be enough to buy all this.
So Uchiha Sora set the blueprints aside for now and turned his attention to himself.
After that battle, what did he still have left?
There was no need to mention the Gatling Gun. Based on Uchiha Sora's calculations, he still had over eight thousand rounds.

Now it had simply retreated inside him.
By now, it should have been sent back to Sunagakure to recover.

"Overall, after careful consideration, his strength is about on par with Hiruzen Sarutobi at his peak. His ninjutsu is even stranger, too. He'll be good enough as a bodyguard in the early stages!"
Uchiha Sora nodded to himself.
He felt like he'd already graduated from the beginner stage.
He could settle down in the village and enjoy a comfortable life.
Even if he stopped working hard now, just the Nuke in his hands would be enough to get him to the end of the story.
But making it to the end and being powerful enough to crush everyone were two different things.
Uchiha Sora had always been ambitious. He knew that if the damn system had chosen him, then he had to have the ability and the means to crush them.
So why give up?

Uchiha Sora thought back to the sight of Itachi Uchiha in Konoha.
They'd been far apart at the time, and Uchiha Sora and the other students had been standing in the square, but he'd still seen his big brother.
When Uchiha Sora read the original story, he'd always felt that the grudge between Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke was such a waste.
How could such an amazing big brother and such a warm brotherly bond not have a perfect ending?
Why did they have to be torn apart?
So, from the moment he'd transmigrated, the first thing Uchiha Sora did was teach his little brother Sasuke, hoping the kid wouldn't turn into a gloomy machine obsessed with revenge.
Now it seemed to have worked. When Itachi Uchiha appeared, Sasuke hadn't shown any hatred at all.
At the time, he'd been focused entirely on Uchiha Sora.
So Uchiha Sora felt there was a real chance of making this work.
Why had Itachi Uchiha distanced himself from his little brother in the original story?

There was another reason, too: Itachi Uchiha had seen through the cruelty of the Ninja World.
He'd used this approach to spur Sasuke on.
But things were different now. With Uchiha Sora around, Sasuke could live under his protection.
And Uchiha Sora felt that if he could resolve both of those concerns, it would only be a matter of time before his big brother came home.
Just imagining powerful Itachi Uchiha returning to Konoha and their Uchiha Clan rising again filled him with excitement.
"All right! That's the long-term goal: bring Big Brother home. The short-term goal is to hurry up and build the Quantum Armor!"
"Besides that, based on the original story, after this big fight with Orochimaru, Akatsuki should make its move!"
