Where one tree fell, all things flourished.

The God Tree had actually grown a Chakra Fruit after absorbing chakra for a hundred years. But the fruit was too small to be of much use to Otsutsuki Yuhao. In the end, he waited more than a thousand years before preparing to pluck it.

He called it a Chakra Fruit, but Otsutsuki Yuhao felt that "spirit fruit" was a more fitting name.

That was because for a God Tree's mature Chakra Fruit to form, it had to consume an Otsutsuki.

But Yuhao's God Tree had never consumed an Otsutsuki. It had only absorbed Natural Energy and chakra, never draining a planet of its life force. It had grown slowly, just like an ordinary fruit tree.

Its colossal roots coiled like dragons and crouched like tigers, burrowing deep into the soil to support its towering form.

Countless specks of Natural Energy, invisible to the naked eye, were slowly being absorbed by it.

Yuhao's gaze settled on a human-head-sized Chakra Spirit Fruit. Countless Chakra Spirit Fruits of all sizes grew around it, but most contained little chakra. The fruit before him held more energy than any of the others.

Otsutsuki Yuhao took one step forward and instantly appeared beside the Chakra Spirit Fruit.

The gravity in the area surged to a hundred times its normal strength. Yuhao had laid down formations throughout the area in case some Otsutsuki who happened to stumble upon this place ate his Chakra Spirit Fruit.

The odds of that happening were slim, but Otsutsuki Yuhao believed it was best to leave nothing to chance.

After all, there were surely Otsutsuki in this world who controlled even more miraculous abilities, and Yuhao knew very little about what other powerful clans might exist.

He plucked the Chakra Fruit.

Feeling the immense energy within it, Otsutsuki Yuhao sat cross-legged on a branch of the God Tree and took a bite.

Otsutsuki Yuhao's right eye automatically turned into a deep blue Tenseigan, while his left eye took on the form of an Eight-Tomoe Rinnegan.

His body was enveloped in a golden Chakra Cloak, threaded with the Tenseigan's deep blue chakra. Ten Truth-Seeking Orbs hovered around him.

A new eye began to grow on Otsutsuki Yuhao's forehead. It was sky blue, with a sky-blue iris and black sclera.

Otsutsuki Yuhao had grown a third eye: the Jōgan.

The Jōgan was a mutation of the Byakugan. It possessed the Byakugan's basic abilities, but its most distinctive power was seeing Nue's movements through space-time and identifying where Otsutsuki Urashiki would teleport. And those were only the Jōgan's basic abilities.

In the anime's original storyline, Otsutsuki Toneri reached Uzumaki Boruto in a dream and told him that his eye was a star of hope against the coming destruction. With that eye, Boruto would bear the fate of the world.

The Jōgan could be said to be a level above the ordinary Rinnegan and Tenseigan, equivalent in rank to the Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan.

[Since the manga hasn't finished yet, I'll count the Jōgan as being on the same level as the Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan.]
