Charlotte had actually wanted to pray for everlasting peace upon the Old Continent, but that was clearly impossible. Even the Nine Righteous Gods, working together, could not accomplish it. Wars still persisted on Earth to this day.
Well, praying to the gods for peace was itself the wrong choice.
No matter which world it was, the gods themselves were the greatest cause of war.
The eight Saint Ranks, along with Charlotte, waited for the black dragon and Domitian to lure Silverback Ape Person Qiudro out of the orc camp. They had not prepared much to begin with, and Antonio had even planned to find a patch of woods. To please his future brother-in-law as much as possible, Charlotte volunteered to take out a piece of felt he had prepared in advance. He chopped down several sturdy branches, fastened the felt over them, and made a crude, simple tent.
He also arranged a circle of forked branches around the tent, plastered them with mud, and tossed some flowers and grass over them. From a distance, it looked like a small mound overgrown with vegetation, but the interior was quite spacious. The felt shielded it from wind and rain, as well as the scorching sun.
When Antonio saw this, he fell into thought. He called Charlotte over and asked in detail how he had come up with such a thing.
Before Anne's brother, Charlotte deliberately showed off his tent-pitching skills. Most of it came from short wilderness camping videos he had watched in his previous life. Antonio was a true soldier and immediately recognized its use. It could be rapidly set up as a camp at any time, then dismantled and carried away. It was simply the perfect tool for marching through the wilderness, and it also allowed an army to make
