As a transmigrator, Charlotte was not bound by the rules and restraints of this world's nobility. He did something exceedingly bold: first, he had Baron Sigma's entire family "packed up" and sent overnight to Cappadocia City. He then declared that the baron's lands and property would be given to every resident of Sigma Castle, while also proclaiming that there would never be taxes again!

His declaration did not stir up much enthusiasm. After all, many people still had doubts. Even so, it moved some of them and won the support of a small portion of the local residents.

Charlotte then recruited soldiers on the spot in the baron's castle, gathering a force of six hundred men. Before dawn, he set out again to attack the next city.

When Princess Axo, Anne, Nanny Karen, and Archpriest Augsladin woke the next day, they still had not seen the Modovan officials assigned to receive them, nor had Charlotte returned. They obediently waited for an entire day, as protocol required.

They were a foreign diplomatic mission. Without local officials receiving them, it was improper for them to move about freely.

Yet an entire day passed without any sign of the reception officials, much less Charlotte, who should have returned long ago.

Anne could no longer sit still. She wanted to leave the city to find Charlotte, but Nanny Karen talked her out of it. Charlotte had three Saint Rank experts at his side, so it was basically impossible for anything to happen to him. If even three Saint Rank experts could not protect him, then going after him would only make things worse.

Anne's reason told her that Nanny Karen was right, but her emotions made her as restless as an ant on a hot pan. She ran to Princess Axo's quarters three times
