Charlotte did not let the fleet approach. He merely lowered a small boat and took Golden Goat Herolf, Andreus, and eight sailors aboard, rowing toward Golden Goat Palace.

After they had not gone far, Charlotte found rowing by hand too slow. He walked to the stern, pressed his palm into the seawater, and activated Star War Qi. The little boat immediately shot forward, riding the wind and breaking the waves. In just over two hours, they neared the labyrinth in the sea.

It had to be said that although it looked as though it were close at hand, the fleet was actually still quite far from Golden Goat Palace.

The more Charlotte and Golden Goat Herolf looked at Golden Goat Palace, the more it resembled Saint Michael's Island. Yet when they drew close, they discovered that Golden Goat Palace was incredibly lively. Several thousand white-robed believers knelt in prayer, reciting scriptures to their god.

It was Agmilas, the Labyrinth Evil God of the Agres Sea.

Golden Goat Palace was filled with Its statues. The thousands of believers looked utterly devout. Other than the fact that so many humans should not have been here, there was no obvious flaw.

Andreus asked, "What should we do? Ask them how to challenge Agmilas?"

Andreus also felt that the idea was unreliable, but he had no idea what the proper procedure for challenging an evil god was. There might not have been many people in this world
