The new route was slow to appear.
Charlotte was not in much of a hurry either. Agmilas had stubbornly deployed even Ishermerlun Palace and the Ghost Fleet without withdrawing them. Clearly, he had no more cards left to play.
Even the Evil God was not in a hurry!
Why should he be?
Charlotte passed through the thirty-second labyrinth. Besides gaining a daughter, a Legendary Warship, more than nine hundred Ghost Ships, a Mirror Demon, he also gained a "small little reward."
Charlotte also obtained another Labyrinth Rune—Memory Manipulation!
It could alter, erase, add, distort, and strengthen the memories of living beings.
However, memories altered by this ability had a time limit. Most people would gradually recover their original memories as time passed. But when used alongside other Labyrinth Powers, such as Time Concealment and the Book of Ages, it could permanently alter memories within a certain range.
This ability was quite interesting. Charlotte had tested it. With his eighteenth-rank strength, Memory Manipulation was almost completely ineffective against Saint Rank beings. Against Transcendents of the same rank, it only lasted a few seconds to a dozen seconds. But against Transcendents below his rank, its effects were exceptionally obvious. On those below the tenth rank, false memories could even last for several months.
While patiently waiting, Charlotte familiarized himself with his newly acquired ability.
About seven or eight days later, the new route finally appeared again!
Charlotte had just handed the fleet over to Juno. One Legendary Warship became two, there were more than nine hundred additional Ghost Ships, and three new members joined them: his teacher, his grown-up son, and his eldest daughter!
Oh, and there was also an Ishermerlun!
It did not necessarily count as a person.
There was no need for Charlotte to have Juno and Gareth leave either.
