When the war reached Ferlanden, he led a southern campaign, seized Dubrovnik, and became entangled in a conflict with Agon that left him carried across the Red Dragon Strait.

• Anne received an official appointment as a first-class Councillor, and Charlotte helped her begin work in the Enforcement Department, where she sent Ellens Cook to the front lines.
• Charlotte met Frederica and Sophia Garland, agreed to help relocate the leopard people, and investigated the Holy Light Divine Kingdom, finding it moored beneath Saint Michael’s Island with a Divine Creature pinned below it.
• Charlotte became an official Priest of the Serpent of Destiny, while Sophia joined the navy and received the Queen Bee through Charlotte’s arrangements.

• Agon agreed to observe human-orc life in Cappadocia, while Charlotte recruited Black Dragon and Qiudro and led a campaign against the orc camp.
• Charlotte and his allies defeated Qiudro and later killed Emisfida, freeing the human captives and bringing the orcs under Charlotte’s control.
• Charlotte captured eleven cities along the Red Dragon Strait, founded the Church of Destiny, and received a promotion and command over the region.
• Charlotte learned that Grand Duchess Mesu had defected to Byron with her fleet, leaving Fars without a Legendary Warship.

• Charlotte defeated Arsène Lupin, secured officials’ allegiance, and took control of Modova in the Eighteen Days War.
