Shisui thought for a moment before speaking.
In his view, Ryosuke's Sharingan could copy secret techniques. Like his own eyes, this was an extremely rare ability of the Sharingan.
To make the most of this ability, the simplest approach was to learn as many secret techniques as possible and become a walking arsenal of ninjutsu.
But Ryosuke shook his head. "Teacher Shisui, we may have more encounters with the Cloud Ninja in the future. They've already trained to counter us, so ordinary ninjutsu won't be very effective."
Shisui nodded. He had witnessed almost the entire battle during their last mission. Just as Ryosuke said, the Cloud Ninja might not know many techniques, but the ones they did know were practical and highly specialized.
If they hadn't run into that unusual Uchiha squad, even with a Jonin leading them, the battle would have been extremely difficult.
"If that's what you think, I'll help you find a way. Konoha has some very skilled Taijutsu users. I'll take you to watch them fight a few times, and you can learn some powerful Taijutsu moves."
"As for training in nature transformation, I can't think of anything right now. You'd have to ask the Third Hokage to teach you personally. He's known as the Professor of Ninjutsu, after all."

Ryosuke rolled his eyes.
Taijutsu was fine. Copying it with his Sharingan really would be convenient.
But asking the Third Hokage for help was probably out of the question.
Not only were their ideals incompatible, Ryosuke also didn't want the Third Hokage to discover his secret.
It looked like he'd have to explore this path on his own.
"Come on. I'll take you to meet a Taijutsu master."
With that, Shisui turned and headed in another direction.
A Taijutsu master? Could it be Might Guy? At this point, he should be around the same age as Kakashi, about eighteen.
If Ryosuke could actually learn his Eight Inner Gates, he'd be practically unbeatable.
But Ryosuke knew that was impossible.
First, Guy's Eight Inner Gates required sacrificing the ability to use ninjutsu, as well as undergoing extremely grueling training.

Shisui pushed open the door with practiced ease and went inside.
"Is Mr. Guy here?"

"Yo, Shisui! Are you here to spar with me?"
As he spoke, Guy struck a pose.
Shisui glanced at Ryosuke. "I didn't scare you, did I? Mr. Guy's just like that. But his Taijutsu is famous throughout Konoha."
"The Blue Beast of Konoha?" Ryosuke murmured.
"The Blue Beast? That's a great name! All right, from now on, I'll be the Blue Beast of Konoha! Uwooo!"
Might Guy let out a howl, then began spinning wildly around the dojo.

Ryosuke realized he'd let something slip. It seemed Guy hadn't yet turned into the 'pervert' he'd become later on.
"By the way, Shisui, what brings you here?"
Guy finally stopped going wild, then suddenly appeared in front of them again.
"Ahaha, actually, there's something I'd like to ask you, Mr. Guy. This is my student, Ryosuke. He wants to improve his Taijutsu, so I came to ask you for help."
Shisui spoke very politely.
"Your student? That's right, you're a Jonin now, so you can lead a team. I wonder when I'll become a Jonin."
Might Guy stroked his chin and fell into thought.
So Might Guy wasn't a Jonin yet.
The three of them stood there in silence for quite a while.
Shisui's mouth twitched.
"So, Mr. Guy, can I leave this to you?"
"Leave what to me?"

It took Shisui quite a while to explain what he wanted. Guy's thoughts kept jumping from one subject to another.
If Ryosuke hadn't known how strong Guy was, he really wouldn't have wanted to stand there any longer.
"Leave it to me! I'll turn you into a Taijutsu expert."
"Teacher Guy, I only have three days," Ryosuke said.
"Three days?" Shisui and Guy exclaimed in surprise.
Ryosuke nodded.
"Three days is far too short. Taijutsu takes a lot of practice and incredible stamina to push your body to its limits."
"It's fine. I have this."
Ryosuke activated his two-tomoe Sharingan.
"The Sharingan! Oh, so you're an Uchiha. Then that won't be a problem."
By this point, Guy had already become very close with Hatake Kakashi, so he knew a lot about the Sharingan.
"I'll leave him in your hands, Mr. Guy. I have something to take care of, so I'll be going."
As soon as Shisui finished speaking, he vanished.
Only Guy and Ryosuke remained in the dojo.
They stared at each other. The atmosphere grew oddly awkward.
But only Ryosuke felt awkward. Guy had no idea what awkwardness was.
"Um, Teacher Guy, where should we start training?"
"Ahem. Well, first you can do two thousand push-ups and a thousand sit-ups, then run five kilometers with weights—"
