Li Yu stepped forward, took the enormous scroll off his back, and handed it to Tsunade to keep safe. It would come in handy.
"You were looking for me. I'm the captain of Konoha's support team, the one who routed your Cloud Ninja vanguard. I'm Senju Nawaki of the Senju Clan."
As he revealed his identity, his hands stayed busy. He pulled several Specialized Kunai from his ninja pouch, ready to throw them at a moment's notice.
"Yo, yo, so you're the punk! Watch this, big man's gonna knock you flat and show you how sharp my blade is!"
Killer B was only halfway through his rap when A, standing beside him, had had enough. He tensed all over and activated the Raikage's signature technique, Lightning Armor.
Blue lightning crackled around his body. He stomped off the ground and charged straight at Li Yu, hoping to catch him off guard with a fast attack.
"Big bro, that's cheating!"
Li Yu had known the short-tempered, impatient future Fourth Raikage could attack at any moment. He swiftly hurled the Specialized Kunai in his hands, embedding them in the ground and nearby trees.
Then he pulled out another Kunai and gripped it, ready to deal with A, who was in the middle of punching him in the face.
He casually tossed aside the Specialized Kunai in his hand. Whoosh! Li Yu vanished from where he stood, leaving only the Specialized Kunai spinning through the air. He reappeared to one side, on a tree.
The future Fourth Raikage, A, had already thrown his punch. His target suddenly vanished, but he couldn't stop the accelerated blow. All he could see was a Specialized Kunai spinning beside him, falling freely through the air.
Whoosh!
Li Yu used Flying Thunder God a second time, appearing beside A. He caught the spinning Specialized Kunai and put some force behind it, secretly coating it with a layer of Wind Release chakra before stabbing at A's Lightning Armor.
Li Yu's eyes lit up. Come here, come here. I want—
Suddenly, a tremendous force shoved A from behind, and a section of an octopus tentacle took his place.
"Just what I was waiting for—my octopus leg!"
Thwack!
With his Super Strength, Li Yu severed the octopus tentacle in one strike. He branded the Flying Thunder God Mark onto the retreating tentacle with one hand, then scooped up the severed piece from the ground with the other.
Whoosh!
Li Yu appeared in front of Tsunade and yanked open the scroll lying on the ground. He pressed the tentacle down in the center with his left hand and placed his right hand over the "Seal" character on the scroll.
He completed the whole sequence in the blink of an eye. While everyone stared in stunned silence, Tsunade—the human tool—still held the scroll without reacting, yet somehow helped seal the Eight-Tails' chakra inside it.
Tsunade watched Li Yu whoosh into view before her, then watched him do all of that. He quickly rolled up the scroll and handed it back to her.
"Big sis, keep this safe. It's a good thing. I'm going to get some more in a moment."
A had been knocked down by the octopus tentacle. When he got back to his feet and saw what had happened, his anger flared.
"You Konoha Ninja are really going too far!"
Li Yu had copied Namikaze Minato's move from the original story and pulled it off with style. He'd also gotten some of the Eight-Tails' chakra. He was in high spirits; now he just needed to get more. If he couldn't, so be it. That section of octopus tentacle might have been short, but it held as much chakra as an elite jōnin.
A charged at Li Yu again without a second thought, shouting, "You're dead!"
"Don't be so stingy. Your Eight-Tails Jinchuriki has plenty of chakra."
Li Yu had been grinning just a moment ago, but his expression suddenly changed. In the original story, A had Lightning Armor protecting him, yet Killer B still had to use a tentacle to push him aside and dodge Namikaze Minato's Kunai thrust. This A was still a long way from his father, the Third Raikage.
Li Yu met the future Fourth Raikage A's fist with one of his own.
"You think I'm afraid of your fist?"
Boom!
Li Yu staggered back three steps, each one cracking the ground beneath his feet. A, meanwhile, was sent flying straight into Killer B.
Li Yu shook off the numbness in his hand. The faint scorch marks on it slowly faded.
Li Yu assumed a fighting stance, ready to trade a few more blows with the future Fourth Raikage. He'd taken something from them, after all, and it wouldn't be easy to smooth things over. The Cloud Ninja all looked grim, and the air was thick with tension.
The future Fourth Raikage, on the other hand, had been caught by Killer B's tentacle. His face was grave.
"Big bro, this Konoha Ninja is tough. I might have to use Tailed Beast Transformation to beat him."
A clutched his injured right hand and stared at Li Yu, eyes wide and body trembling with rage. He couldn't swallow this humiliation.
"I'm still a long way behind Father. I haven't mastered Lightning Armor yet."
"This place is too small, and there aren't many Konoha Ninja here. We brought quite a few people, and I'm worried we might hurt them by accident."
"We should go back for now. Besides, we only came to test them out, and we didn't take that much of a loss."
"That's right, big bro. Next time, we'll find a wider place. I'll help you get your revenge."
"Good. That's what we'll do."
There was another concern Killer B didn't voice. If he used Tailed Beast Transformation, he could kill a lot of Konoha Ninja, but his big brother A might well be killed by that young Senju. He didn't want that to happen, so he chose to back down for now.
A had taken Li Yu's full-force Strength of a Hundred punch, yet suffered only a minor injury to his right hand. That showed just how tough he was. Though he still wasn't as strong as the Third Raikage, his current strength was already approaching Kage Level.
Unfortunately, he hadn't mastered Lightning Armor yet. Its defense was still limited, and his strength wasn't enough.
Killer B helped A to his feet, tossed out a parting threat, then turned and left with the Cloud Ninja.
"You Konoha Ninja better watch your backs!"
They'd dropped the most clichéd threat while doing the most cowardly thing: running off with their people. They gave the Konoha Ninja no time to react. They'd arrived in a hurry and left just as quickly.
"Are the Cloud Ninja really leaving?"
"I thought we were in for a big fight."
"Shouldn't we chase them?"
"Chase them? What if it's a trap?"
"Exactly. They came and went in a flash."
Only after the Cloud Ninja vanished into the forest did everyone turn their attention to Tsunade, waiting for her orders.
"We'll discuss it after we get back. At least now we know who's leading them, and we got a little something out of it."
Tsunade had been keeping a close eye on the situation. She was astonished that Li Yu had gotten so skilled with Second Hokage Tobirama Senju's Flying Thunder God. Then, after only a few brief exchanges, the opponents had already realized Li Yu was no ordinary fighter. To minimize casualties, she'd decisively chosen to withdraw.
She stole a glance at Li Yu, looking him up and down, and thought, The thing I can't understand most is how Li Yu's Wood Release Clone can be this strong. Where's his real body? How strong is it?
I came back to the village, and you didn't even come see me. You sent a clone to the battlefield, of all things. Just wait until I catch your real body—I'll teach you a lesson.
Li Yu was retrieving Specialized Kunai from around the forest when he felt a cold gaze coming from the Konoha ranks. He shivered, turned around, and met Tsunade's teasing look.
