Kamui Dimension

Li Yu woke up yawning, dragged out of bed by his alarm clock. He went through his usual morning routine, grabbed a quick bite, donned his mask, and pulled on his black robe.

This time, Li Yu was smarter. He didn't rush out of the Kamui Dimension; instead, he activated the Mangekyo Sharingan in his left eye and opened a tiny slit. After scanning the area and confirming it was empty, he finally leaped out of the Kamui Dimension with peace of mind.

Standing on the mountain peak, Li Yu took a deep breath. "What a beautiful world, the air is so fresh."

He recalled the events of yesterday, when he had taken out the Third Raikage A and the many Cloud Ninja who had rushed up to serve themselves on a platter. He sifted through the memories transmitted back by his two Wood Release Clones.

Those two Wood Release Clones had certainly not been polite yesterday, easily wiping out the hundreds of ninjas who charged at them. The Cloud Ninja, terrified out of their wits, eventually succumbed to the fear of death and scattered in retreat. The Wood Release Clones had chased them down and killed a fair number, but eventually, they couldn't be bothered to continue and simply dispelled themselves, vanishing into two puffs of white smoke.

"Running into the Third Raikage A by accident this time—consider it your bad luck, and mine as well."

"At least it saved me a trip to the Cloud Village to cause trouble; I even saved time on the journey."

Li Yu pulled out a map, checked his bearings, and set off toward the Land of Earth. Since he had accidentally taken out the Third Raikage A, he figured he should also deal with the ten thousand ninjas of the Hidden Stone Village in the Land of Earth to balance the strength of the villages and keep the plot on track.

Just as he was preparing to descend the mountain, Li Yu suddenly spotted several white figures in a small forest in the distance, busily hauling the corpses of the Cloud Ninja from the ground and collecting the ones that were still relatively intact.

"Oh, the White Zetsu have quite a workload. Not only do they collect intelligence and monitor the ninjas of every village, but they also have to moonlight as battlefield scavengers."

"They look quite professional; they must have done this plenty of times before."

"They're making a contribution to the environmental protection of the Naruto World, preventing large numbers of corpses from rotting and polluting the environment. They deserve an award."

Li Yu suddenly remembered that the Senju Clan had established a ninjutsu development project to complete techniques that the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, had failed to finish or had only partially developed. He couldn't waste so much material; being a clan head really meant worrying about everything.

Looking at the dough-like constitution of the White Zetsu, he couldn't help but feel a sense of covetousness.

He secretly counted the number of White Zetsu working and, deciding to act on his impulse, did some quick mental calculations.

He activated his left Mangekyo Sharingan again, and after a ripple of space, he entered the Kamui Dimension. Using the materials stored inside and the sealing techniques he had learned from Uzumaki Kushina, he set up two sealing arrays infused with genjutsu, designed to suppress the White Zetsu's movements and force them into a dormant state.

He formed hand seals to create four Wood Release Clones, then took two of them out of the Kamui Dimension. The three of them exchanged a knowing look, wore smug smiles, and formed hand seals.

"Poof, poof, poof."

Three White Zetsu, transformed from Li Yu and his clones, made a flashy entrance.

The three fake White Zetsu slowly sank into the ground and snuck toward the group of White Zetsu.

After emerging from the ground nearby, they walked into the team of White Zetsu hauling the Cloud Ninja corpses, their eyes gleaming as they looked at the group of dough-like creatures.

"Hey, you three, you just arrived from nearby, right? Get to work!"

"You look unfamiliar, but whatever, get to work."

Li Yu immediately bowed and scraped, slowly approaching the White Zetsu who seemed to be in charge. There were at least five or six White Zetsu nearby, and Li Yu had to be careful; he was afraid that one slip-up would cause them to scatter and burrow away, making them impossible to catch.

When they were within three meters, the three of them struck decisively. The lead White Zetsu realized something was wrong and tried to call for help.

"You guys—"

He was immediately surrounded by the three in a triangular formation. The Wood Release Clones on either side placed their hands—fingers crackling with chakra—firmly on his shoulders, acting like three buddies with their arms around each other.

The foreman White Zetsu was instantly silenced, unable to speak or move, and was hoisted up by the two Wood Release Clones and carried away.

Li Yu, following behind, immediately spoke up, shouting to the rest of the working White Zetsu:

"Keep working! What are you looking at? Lord Black Zetsu has important words to pass down!"

The other White Zetsu, filled with questions, went back to work. The White Zetsu further away didn't notice a thing.

After carrying him away from the main group to a secluded spot, Li Yu placed his hand on the ground to sense the area and confirmed there were no other White Zetsu nearby.

He activated his left Mangekyo Sharingan, and with a ripple, he tossed the suspected foreman White Zetsu inside. A Wood Release Clone then stepped out, transformed into the appearance of a regular White Zetsu.

Li Yu continued to form seals, transforming into the appearance of the foreman White Zetsu, followed by three Wood Release Clones disguised as White Zetsu, and successfully blended into the White Zetsu team.

Li Yu then began bossing the corpse-hauling team around, ordering a single White Zetsu to follow his three Wood Release Clones to a secluded spot to "work," where they would then seal and hide them.

He followed this pattern, becoming bolder as he went, eventually taking three or more at a time to secluded spots, hiding them all in one place in a single go.

"Oh, how many years have you been doing this?"

"Me? I've been at this for quite a few years."

"What about you? How many years?"

"Me? Today is actually my first time doing this kind of work."

"Hey, brother, have you noticed that there seem to be fewer people around?"

"Is that so? I hadn't noticed."

"Yeah, there are definitely fewer people."

"Could someone have infiltrated our ranks?"

"I don't believe it. Our work is very discreet, and we have people keeping watch."

"How do you contact them?"

These conversations were all being held by Li Yu's three Wood Release Clones, who were almost becoming one with the White Zetsu. They had intentionally brought up the topic of missing people out of boredom, and the foolish White Zetsu didn't even suspect them, even revealing how to contact the White Zetsu who were keeping watch.

Li Yu, standing to the side, couldn't bear to watch anymore and gave them a look.

"Hurry up and finish the job."

"Understood, boss."

The three Wood Release Clones exchanged glances, each pinning down a White Zetsu with one hand. In a swift motion, they subdued all six White Zetsu on the ground. Once they had efficiently restrained them, Li Yu activated the Mangekyo Sharingan in his left eye, sweeping all the White Zetsu scattered across the floor into the Kamui Dimension.

He then signaled the remaining White Zetsu who were keeping watch to come out, sealing and controlling them all in one go.

Having finished all this, Li Yu let out a sigh of relief and leaned against a tree.

There's no helping it. Without Lord Madara's technique for replicating White Zetsu, I'll just have to make do with catching a few for now.

Returning to the Kamui Dimension, Li Yu looked at the thirty-seven White Zetsu trapped within the sealing formation, a smug smile spreading across his face. Beside them lay over fifty neatly packed corpses of Cloud Village ninjas.

"I finally have materials for my experiments. When the time comes, I'll go to Uchiha Madara's place and get my hands on more White Zetsu, and hopefully, I can eventually acquire the production technology."

"White Zetsu are excellent vessels, too. I'll see if there's a chance to upgrade them further."

Now, he wouldn't have to worry about gathering intelligence, tracking people, or monitoring specific targets in the ninja world.
