Oshima had no time to think, rushing headlong toward the center of the explosion.

He had assumed that both children would be severely injured by such a violent blast, but the scene before him left him stunned.

Lu Miao was carrying Lihuo in a bridal style, struggling as she walked toward Oshima. Though both were covered in dust and soot, they didn't appear to be seriously hurt, which left Oshima overjoyed.

When Lihuo woke up again, he found himself lying in a hospital bed.
