Ryōken rose to the True God realm and overwhelmed the Void forces before returning to Konoha with Hinata and his companions. As the Chunin Exams began, Black Zetsu’s attack on Itachi brought Ryōken’s attention to the Forest of Death.

• Ryōken defeated Ryōken’s challenger? No. Ryōken defeated the Barbarian King in a duel, then joined the academy’s geniuses in training for the Void Trial.
• Ryōken killed the Rift Herald and Eagle Spirit during the Void Trial, then set a new record by clearing the Trial Tower’s seventh floor.
• Ryōken returned to the Naruto World, rescued Hinata, revived Kushina, and confronted Hiruzen Sarutobi over Naruto’s neglect.
• Ryōken stopped Alpha from coercing Ashe, and Hong backed him before the Mount Targon secret realm opened.
• Ryōken entered the secret realm, reached the True God realm, killed Lei Ling and Kha'Zix, and wiped out the Void armies and a Star Spirit Race Main God.
• Ryōken returned to Konoha with Hinata, Aman, and Annie, where Hiruzen Sarutobi and the village leaders welcomed him with deference.
• As the Chunin Exams began, Ryōken sensed Black Zetsu near Konoha and watched as Itachi confronted him in the Forest of Death.
• Black Zetsu used Kamui against Itachi, who faced imminent death as an untraceable sigh sounded.
