Stella added at this point.
"That is indeed possible. There were no imprisoned youths in those carriages earlier."
"And the beastfolk only took ten carriages with them when they fled."
"If those ten carriages truly held our human youths as well, then I fear only that many youths are still alive!"
High Priest Dagmar fell silent for a moment.
In the end, she found Nalant's reasoning highly plausible.
The beastfolk would not provoke a war for no reason.
And this motive was very likely that the beastfolk could no longer salvage the situation, so they might as well strike first.
