Too Wasteful?

Vini's Greater Healing truly was miraculous. After barely half a minute, Catherine and Vini emerged from the bushes again.

"My lord!" Catherine came before Nalant, stroking her arm. Although she had seen it used on the Three-Colored Chicken that day, having it truly work on herself still felt somewhat unreal.

"How is it? All better now?" Nalant smiled and pulled Catherine's arm over for a look.

"It's healed, my lord!" A faint blush immediately rose to Catherine's face. After all, they were out in public.

Still, she did not resist, allowing Nalant to hold her arm and inspect it from side to side.

"Not bad, not bad! The skin isn't even broken!"

Naturally, Lord Nalant was not trying to take advantage of her. After looking it over and feeling the injured spot with his hand, he confirmed that everything was truly fine before releasing Catherine's slender arm in satisfaction.

He then looked at Vini, whose forehead was beaded with sweat. "Vini, you've worked hard!"

"My lord, Vini isn't tired. Vini is very happy to be able to help you and Sister Catherine!"

Nalant was very pleased to hear that. It seemed the girl was beginning to blend into his big family. Smiling, he continued, "How much of your talent power did treating Catherine consume this time?"

"My lord, it seems to have used half of it!" Vini sensed the talent power within her for a moment before answering.

"Half? That means you can treat two people at once!" Nalant understood.

It seemed Greater Healing had to be used carefully on the battlefield. After all, there were currently only two chances to use it, so it could only serve as a life-saving measure.
