The girls waited quietly up in the tree.
Flutter!
Just then, the sound of flapping wings came from the air. A gray figure landed beside them.
"Ah! Little Gray is back! Little Gray, what did you find? How many Magic Beasts are coming?" little Sherry asked impatiently.
Little Gray began to report.
A moment later, after hearing the report, Sherry happily said to Bessie and Vini, "Sister Bessie, Sister Vini, Little Gray said all the nearby Magic Beasts have been drawn here! There are at least thirty or forty of them."
"So many!" The two girls' faces turned even paler at those words.
"Yes, the more, the better! That proves Sister Vini's potion was a success. My lord will definitely be happy when he finds out. As for safety, Sister Bessie, Sister Vini, don't worry. Little Gray said there aren't any particularly powerful Magic Beasts." Little Sherry patted her chest as she promised.
The two girls had already mounted the tiger and found themselves unable to dismount. They could only wait in silence.
Second by second, time passed. As the roars drew closer and closer, the three girls knew the Magic Beasts were about to arrive.
Bessie and Vini were trembling slightly, but the little girl was growing more and more excited.
Rustle! Rustle!
Just then, sounds came from the forest ahead again. This time, however, it was clearly not Little Gray.
"They're finally here!" The little girl stared excitedly ahead.
Sure enough, in the next moment, a deer with colorful plum-blossom markings appeared beside the short tree. It was a first-tier Magic Beast, a Tricolor Deer.
"So pretty!" Little Sherry's eyes immediately lit up at the sight of the Tricolor Deer.
But her reaction gave the two girls beside her quite a fright, and they hurriedly covered her mouth.
