In the blink of an eye, the second day arrived.
Yesterday afternoon, Nalant had accompanied Black Tower in drinking for the entire afternoon, letting the Dwarf indulge without restraint in the charms of Storm Eye.
The result was that Black Tower had grabbed Nalant's hand, repeatedly thanking him and swearing that with but a word from Nalant, he, Black Tower, would brave boiling water and tread through fire without hesitation.
Nalant had no need for Black Tower to brave boiling water and tread through fire, but he did want to keep this Dwarf in Storm Territory.
After all, Furnace Fortress was still some distance from his territory. Keeping a Dwarven craftsman in his own lands would make everything far more convenient.
Of course, Nalant had not yet made this matter clear.
There was no need to rush such things. He had to let Storm Eye slowly corrode Black Tower.
He believed that Black Tower would definitely be unable to escape Storm Eye's grasp.
And although he had been dead drunk yesterday, Black Tower rose this morning still brimming with energy.
Nalant brought him to the smithy and immediately began forging the barrel for the magic cannon.
"Nalant, don't worry. I'll definitely forge the finest thing for you!"
As Nalant left, Black Tower did not forget to thump his chest and declare his resolve.
Nalant trusted Black Tower's craftsmanship. He nodded and left the smithy, planning to have his subordinates notify him once Black Tower had finished forging the cannon body.
After leaving the smithy, Nalant did not return to the castle right away. Instead, he headed to the workshop where the Goblin chief master craftsman was located.
"Greetings, esteemed lord!"
When the chief master craftsman Luba saw Nalant, he immediately offered a respectful greeting.
The Goblin craftsmen beside him did
