"President Theodore, it's not about that matter. There's something else I'd like to ask you about!" Nalant shook his head.
As for Jerry and the others, Theodore had already said yesterday that they would be properly settled, so Nalant was not worried about that.
"Something else? Go ahead, Nalant!" President Theodore nodded, setting down the several sheets of parchment in his hands as he waited for Nalant's question.
"President Theodore, I'd like to ask: if I wanted to sell the North Burley Territory I've just acquired, do you think the other empires would buy it?"
"And if I really were to sell it, what price would be appropriate?"
Nalant did not beat around the bush and directly asked his question.
President Theodore froze upon hearing this, then his eyes widened. "Nalant, you're planning to sell the North Burley Territory?"
"That's right, President Theodore. The North Burley Territory lies in the north, with numerous empires separating it from me. I simply can't manage it, so I think it would be better to sell it." Nalant nodded.
He had actually made up his mind long ago. Once the territory was in his hands, he would have to get rid of it as soon as possible.
Leaving aside the fact that he did not have the spare time to manage such an enclave.
Another important reason was that Nalant did not trust the Bach Empire.
Those people were bowing their heads now only because circumstances had forced their hand, making them willing to sit down and negotiate peace with him.
But once they freed up their hands, they would probably come looking for trouble with him again.
Although Nalant felt they certainly would not mobilize a massive force to attack his Storm Territory again.
The North Burley Territory, however, lay right beside them.
