"Of course. If this dragon hadn't been here, it wouldn't have been so easy for anyone else to find this array core!"

"Nalant, you need to be careful in the future. Some mages set up fake array cores when arranging their formations."

"And once a fake array core is activated, it may trigger the magic array into launching an attack."

"Still, the owner of this place had decent character. This dragon didn't detect anything offensive within the protective barrier!"

Little Bone Dragon spoke to Nalant with immense pride, not forgetting to earnestly instruct him as well.

"Alright." Nalant smacked his lips. He had been ready to watch the Bone Dragon display its divine might and use some spell to break the magic array.

Who would have thought all it needed was the press of a switch to open it directly?

Nalant then turned his attention to the vast space ahead.

The spacious chamber was now brightly lit, and the several statues within had become much clearer.

There were ten statues in all, arranged in two rows facing each other.

They looked rather like guards standing along a palace corridor.

Following the passage between the statues straight ahead would lead directly to the tightly shut door at the very back.

"Nalant, you humans really do love these flashy but impractical arrangements. These statues are clearly dead objects, yet they're made to look as though they could come alive and protect the safety of this palace!"

Little Bone Dragon also scrutinized several of the statues, but found nothing in the end.

So it complained to Nalant, feeling that this was simply a waste.

Nalant smacked his lips, left speechless. "Let's go, Lord Bone Dragon. Let's head forward and take a look!"

Afterward, Nalant led Little Bone Dragon into the empty chamber.
