But its hide was truly too thick—dragon-sharp fangs and razor claws could only inflict minor wounds.
Even with Liszt riding Bard in dragon-human unity and unleashing the powerful Dragon Battle Qi Manual, he still could not deal Nemean Lion any serious injury.
After a full ten minutes of battle, Nemean Lion was covered in blood, yet it remained full of vigor, showing few signs of exhaustion.

Gritting his teeth, Liszt continued directing Fire Dragon Rio to grapple with Nemean Lion head-on while he rode Invisible Dragon Bard around the perimeter, launching sneak attacks in search of a weak point to kill it in one strike. Yet Nemean Lion had no weak points anywhere on its body.
