Every natural node was connected to a super-magic event and might conceal something important, such as metal deposits, dragon remains, gemstone veins, remnants of divine artifacts, and the like. Yet after circling through an area three hundred kilometers around the volcano, he did not find a single natural node.
"Perhaps the Legendary Continent has fewer super-magic events, and therefore fewer natural nodes as well. The Flame Archipelago and the Shell Sea were sites of earth-shattering ancient wars, which is why they have so many natural nodes."

Two days later, he discovered a natural node near a city five hundred kilometers to the northeast. Unfortunately, there was a human castle nearby.
