In the 4th year of the Flame Calendar, Liszt Flame annexed the Iron Ridge Kingdom.
In the 5th year of the Flame Calendar, Liszt Flame annexed the Blast Furnace Kingdom, completing the unification of the northeastern corner of the Legendary Continent.
In the 6th year of the Flame Calendar, A Ke successfully replicated the power of dreams with the Emerald Dragon Leg, planting vast numbers of Mind Fruit Trees and cultivating great quantities of Dragon-Bewildering Heart Fruit.
With those Dragon-Bewildering Heart Fruits, Liszt began riding large numbers of dragons captured from the kingdoms.
In the 7th year of the Flame Calendar, the Flame Kingdom completed its allocation of resources among its vassal states, dragons, elves, nobles, and arcanists. Liszt Flame was formally crowned emperor, with the nation renamed the Flame Empire and his imperial title becoming Liszt the Great.
That year, the Flame Empire directly controlled thirty-two dragons. Its only Dragon Knights remained Liszt himself, Emily, and Hippolyta. There were twelve vassal states within the empire, retaining fifteen dragons. All of them had signed agreements under which their dragons would unconditionally obey Liszt's command.
In the 11th year of the Flame Calendar, after four peaceful years, the Smoke Dragon that had been gestating in Liszt's mind for years finally hatched. Yet it did not manifest a physical dragon body. Instead, it merged with Liszt, granting him the ability to turn his body into smoke and allowing him to completely grasp the power of destiny.
At the same time, through his command of destiny, he uncovered the true history of ancient times—the Holy Dragons had not betrayed the Magic Dragon, nor were they traitorous dragons who communicated with the Moon Dragon.
Rather, as humanity developed to great heights, order gradually slipped beyond the Magic Dragon's control. To purge this unrestrained momentum,
