A Ke's Big House (Fourth Update, Bonus Chapter for a Ten-Thousand-Coin Reward 3/3)

A Ke the sea demon sat in a rocking chair, her graceful body swaying gently with it. The rounded places concealed by bands of water shifted softly as well—rocking up once, down once, then trembling twice.

Hearing the door open, she did not move, merely glancing through the curtain.

She had little sense of guarding herself, because Liszt had decreed that servants could only enter the worm room at fixed times to clean.

The only person free to enter at any other time was Liszt.

"Brother." The moment A Ke saw who it was, she smiled. Her eyes curved into lovely crescents as she set down her magic book and stood up.

Below her ankles was still seawater, gently supporting her.

At around one meter fifty-five, she looked especially petite and exquisite. Her skin was fair and rosy, her legs straight and slender, and her deep-blue hair as silky as flowing water.

Such a masterpiece of creation made Liszt lose himself for a moment every time he saw her, no matter how many times he had looked upon her.

"A Ke, still reading?" Liszt walked over and habitually ruffled her hair.

Zyra, the Thorn Sprite soaking in a shell, stole a line: "Wuwa!"

It was greeting him.

But Liszt ignored it.

"A Ke is studying Millerxi Zhenli's research notes and working on the magic Water Wheel Wall. A Ke feels she understands it thoroughly now and should learn it very soon." A Ke said happily. "Oh, right, Brother, A Ke saw you dissecting Dulu Michita. Hehe, A Ke isn't scared anymore!"

A Ke had now learned three water-element spells—Water Arrow Spell, Water Arrow Barrage, and Water Bullet—and was about to learn Water Wheel Wall. It had been less than three full months since she first came into contact with magic.
