Light-element potions were so valuable because mages needed the support of light-element potions to study light magic. Otherwise, relying on a mage's own affinity with light-element mana was exceedingly difficult.
It was not only light-element mana that was difficult to attune to; dark-element mana was as well. Potions of both elements were exceedingly rare, which was why their prices remained so high.
"Pity I don't have a Smilax Elf Bug... Not only does the light-leaved smilax have no elf, even the lycoris has none." Liszt could only dig up both magical plants, roots and all, wrap them up, and place them in his space ring—when it came to soulless plants, the stillness effect of space could preserve their vitality.
Once he obtained a Lycoris Elf Bug and a Smilax Elf Bug, he could cultivate them then.
Of the seven plants emitting mana feedback glows, the last was a small shrub bearing a Bloodline Fruit. At the sight of that fruit flickering with yellow mana light, Liszt felt a surge of excitement.
He had always hoped to find another Bloodline Fruit, preferably one with earth-element mana. Then he could capture another batch of Violent Earth Dogs, breed their pups, and use the Bloodline Fruit during their infancy to stimulate their evolution. As long as they survived the violent force of evolution, he would gain new Blizzard Beasts, which could then breed with Dousen and the others.
Thus creating a Blizzard Beast legion.
One day, every member of his Burning Knight Order would have a Blizzard Beast. Storming cities and tearing down strongholds would be terrifying beyond measure.
"Forget it. I shouldn't place too much hope on it. The chance of a Bloodline Fruit's evolution failing is far greater than its chance of succeeding. I can't rely on the Smoke Dragon's power
