After precisely fixing their position with a sextant, A Ke casually sketched a crude topographical map of the Flame Archipelago in her notebook.
The Flame Archipelago was not the sort of archipelago with islands scattered far and wide across a vast stretch of sea. It looked more like a shattered oracle bone preserved in a museum—a complete turtle shell broken into countless fragments, then pieced back together. Of course, Liszt preferred to call it a shattered seashell.
A turtle shell sounded far too low-class. Call it a seashell, and its status immediately rose.
This seashell also resembled an oval leaf, pointed at both ends and rounded in the middle, stretching overall from northeast to southwest. At the northeastern corner were three large islands, each nearly the size of Iron Hoof Island according to A Ke's sketch; in the middle lay the enormous Flame Island, with Whirlpool Mountain at the eastern center of Flame Island.
At the southwestern corner, four large islands formed the edge of the seashell. Together with Flame Island, they enclosed an inland sea.
Naturally, this was only a rough map. Many regions were A Ke's deductions rather than carefully fixed locations, and neither the islands' areas nor the sea's area had been calculated. To complete the smoke mission of surveying and mapping the region, they would still need to stay busy for quite some time before they could find the lost Invisible Dragon.
In short.
The archipelago was called the Flame Archipelago, so the surrounding waters could no longer continue to be called the Azure Sea. Liszt simply named them the Shell Sea.
Any coastal waters that would one day fall under the rule of the Flame Kingdom would
