Urged on by Liszt, the Invisible Dragon flew at extreme speed, skimming close along one wall of the labyrinth. After weaving and winding through it, the seemingly complex maze was swiftly breached.
When he looked back, the crystal-structured world that formed the labyrinth rapidly collapsed, replaced by an entirely new maze. This maze encompassed the whole world, with no rules whatsoever—only countless crystal structures combined together. He and the Invisible Dragon stood upon a throne at the center of the maze.
Calling it a throne, it was really only a raised platform.
"Wuu-yiya!"
The Invisible Dragon suddenly beat its wings and soared. Layer upon layer of labyrinth walls swiftly receded behind it as it flew, offering not the slightest obstruction.
Within this labyrinth, the Invisible Dragon controlled everything.
All at once—
His vision opened up. He had already flown out of the labyrinth and returned to the real world—or rather, emerged victorious from the battle of minds. His thoughts began to synchronize with the Invisible Dragon's, and their minds began to merge as one. From this moment onward, he was a true Holy Dragon Knight—the Invisible Dragon Knight.
The process had been rather winding and tortuous, but the result was not too bad.
Liszt's previous feelings of gloom, disappointment, indignation, and sour envy also brightened. Through their union of minds, he could sense the Invisible Dragon's thoughts, and the Invisible Dragon could sense his joy. They guided and influenced one another, though Liszt held the greater share of control.
