After a good night's sleep, Liszt woke refreshed and clear-headed.
He could no longer remember what exactly he had dreamed of last night, but his goal in life was now set: to ride every dragon on the Legendary Continent and the other "Mafa Continent."
Mafa Continent was something future A Ke had revealed, but Liszt did not know exactly what place it referred to.
When he and A Ke had discussed it last night, they had concluded that Mafa Continent might be the continent where the Children of the Sun lived.
In ancient times, the Moon Empire had unified the Legendary Continent, while the Children of the Sun had unified Mafa Continent. Separated by the Devil Sea, these two great ancient civilizations traveled between their continents by Skyship. Of course, they might also have directly established magical teleportation arrays to communicate with one another; it was simply unknown why the Children of the Sun had declined as well.
Liszt still remembered the note inside the Plastic Aluminum drift bottle—The tower has fallen, Tree City burns, XX has perished, the Children of the Sun shall rise into the sky with the flames. Children scattered abroad, you are free.
Perhaps it referred to a great calamity that Mafa Continent had once suffered.
Yet some of the timelines still did not match. According to old cobbler Phil's account and Philip Sun Descendant's Diary, their ancestors had only been exiled several centuries ago. That note should likewise have recorded the civilization of the Children of the Sun from several centuries ago, rather than some distant ancient civilization.
Moreover, Liszt had salvaged a sunken Skyship before. Judging by its decay, it could not have been more than a thousand years old.
The Moon Empire, meanwhile, had been destroyed for who knew how many years—at least
