The Ninja Academy was packed to capacity, and the surrounding roads were jammed solid.

This graduation ceremony was especially grand, for many reasons.

This year's graduates had been born around Konoha's thirteenth year, when Hashirama was still alive and the village's birth rate had reached its peak. On top of that, the distinguished Tsunade was among this batch of graduates.

Even the daimyo in the capital had specially sent an envoy to attend the ceremony.

The young prodigies of Konoha's Silver Age had finally reached their graduation day.

Uchiha Ayano was now the principal of the Ninja Academy.

Three seats had been placed at the center of the viewing stand. Toji sat in the middle, while Chiri and Takayuki sat on either side in their capacities as a Konoha elder and the Hokage's aide.

Toji looked down below—

Having ranked first in the graduation examinations, Tsunade took the stage as the top graduate to speak on behalf of all the students.

This year's graduation ceremony differed slightly from previous years.

Toji, now Hokage, no longer went onstage to give a speech. Mainly because he had run out of material; all the classic speeches he could remember had already been used at previous Ninja Academy ceremonies.

To maintain his image, Toji simply stepped back at the height of his success and gave the speaking opportunity to an outstanding junior like Tsunade.

Tsunade had grown into a graceful young girl, her blonde hair tied high in a ponytail.

She was quite perceptive as well. Standing onstage, she sincerely praised Toji. "First, I would like to offer special thanks to the Third Hokage. Much of the knowledge and wisdom I gained outside the classroom was taught to me by him—"

At the mention of Toji, cheers appropriately rose from the audience.
