Jun Hyuga had guessed that the Hokage would resolve this matter through unexpected means, but he made no attempt to stop him, much less any plans to expose him.
First, he was absolutely loyal to the Hokage. Even if he had to give his life, he would do so without hesitation.
Second, he loathed the Caged Bird Curse Mark and the Main Family that lorded over them.
That was also why, despite being married for years, he had never wanted a child.
A child born to the Branch Family would always belong to the Branch Family.
At three years old, they would be branded with the Caged Bird Curse Mark by a Main Family elder. Whenever Jun Hyuga imagined that future, hatred surged uncontrollably within him.
In the past, he and Kotone Hyuga had enjoyed a special status, so even when the elders sensed their killing intent, they dared not casually use the Caged Bird on them.
