Background / History

Tang San attends Shrek Academy alongside Xiao Wu. At the beginning of the story, Xiao Wu considers him the person she loves most, but Qin Chuan's hypnosis disrupts and later removes her attachment to Tang San. Tang San remains unaware of this shift at first, even as Xiao Wu becomes openly affectionate toward Qin Chuan. 1 2 4

During Yu Xiaogang's class, Tang San introduces himself as a level 29 control-system Spirit Master with Blue Silver Grass. Yu Xiaogang harshly dismisses the martial soul's potential, while Zhao Wuji later trains Tang San to improve its toughness by braiding three strands together. 5 6

Tang San increasingly resents Qin Chuan as Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing gather around him. While accompanying the group into the Star Dou Great Forest, Tang San and Dai Mubai secretly plan to push Qin Chuan into a cave and seal him inside. 7 8

Six years later, Tang San reaches level 60 and accompanies Tang Hao into the Star Dou Great Forest. With Xiao Wu under Tang Hao's control, Tang San prepares to use her sacrifice to obtain a soul ring. Qin Chuan interrupts the ritual, takes Xiao Wu away, and uses Soul Judgment to inflict devastating spiritual damage on Tang San. 46 47

Tang Hao later carries Tang San to Slaughter City, where Tang Chen examines and heals his damaged spiritual sea with Asura divine power. A strand of contaminated divine power remains within Tang San afterward. 67

Conflict with Qin Chuan

As Xiao Wu and the other girls grow close to Qin Chuan, Tang San's resentment intensifies. He and Dai Mubai plot against Qin Chuan during the soul-hunting operation. 4 8

Xiao Wu's Attempted Sacrifice

At level 60, Tang San follows Tang Hao to carry out Xiao Wu's sacrifice. Qin Chuan rescues her using Bansho Ten'in, then inflicts a spiritual attack on Tang San with Soul Judgment, leaving him unconscious and severely damaged. 46 47

Slaughter City Treatment

Tang Hao takes Tang San to Slaughter City in desperation as his spiritual sea approaches collapse. Tang Chen heals him with Asura divine power, though contaminated divine power is left behind. 67
