"I understand, Senior Sister."

Luo Ye said seriously.

Then he got busy, chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients, putting what needed refrigeration into the fridge. In the end, he discovered that the refrigerator simply could not hold everything.

Anyone who did not know better would have thought his family was celebrating the New Year today.

He had been too eager to prove himself. As he kept buying things, he realized he had bought far too much.

It seemed that pursuing a girl could not be rushed after all. He still had to keep his feet on the ground and treat it with an even temper.

Luo Ye began seriously considering the matter.

Su Baizhou leaned halfway out of the kitchen, holding a spoon. "Come help me."

Before long, dinner for the day was ready.

Since there were only two of them, Su Baizhou had not made much.

She planned to turn them into boxed meals. That way, the meat and seafood would not spoil so quickly. She could keep the boxed meals fresh, then have Luo Ye bring them to his roommates when school started the day after tomorrow.

Otherwise, the two of them could never finish it all, and fresh ingredients would spoil within a day or two.

After dinner, Su Baizhou sat on the sofa watching television while Luo Ye went to the kitchen to wash the dishes.

Once he was done, Luo Ye also sat on the sofa.

They sat at opposite ends of the couch, staring intently at the television.

Of course, neither of them was actually focused on it.

After a long while, Su Baizhou asked, "Is your family very wealthy?"

Luo Ye froze when he heard that.

Senior Sister must have seen the ingredients from dinner tonight, which was why she asked that.

He scratched his head and replied, "I have a part-time job, so I've earned some money."

The two returned to their respective rooms.

And out of every five messages, one would tag Tang Enqi. He seemed very interested in this New Student Campus Belle.

Come to think of it, this rich second-generation kid was one of the three most notable freshmen. His name was Gao Yuming.

Another was Shen Qiao, the New Student Campus Heartthrob known for his looks. The last was Tang Enqi, the New Student Campus Belle, who naturally needed no introduction.

There was more than one rich second-generation student at the university, but he was the only one who showed off at every turn.

Watching all the attention-seeking messages in the freshman group chat every day was how Luo Ye passed the time.

Soon, the sound of water in the bathroom stopped.

Su Baizhou put on her pajamas, came out of the bathroom, and returned to her room.

The light in the master bedroom was still on, meaning Fairy Senior Sister was still working.

Luo Ye quietly slipped out of his room and went to use the bathroom.

The entire bathroom was filled with a rich fragrance. Luo Ye knew it well—it was Senior Sister's natural scent.

After taking a quick leak, Luo Ye returned to his room.

Though they lived under the same roof, Luo Ye still chose to message Senior Sister.

"Go to bed early, Senior Sister."

When Su Baizhou's phone received the message, she looked at it, her gaze becoming a little distant.

She looked back at the computer in front of her. She had only completed seventy percent of this freelance assignment, and it would take at least another hour to finish it completely.

Normally, Su Baizhou would not need to be so busy during the holiday, but she had something to do tomorrow, so she was staying up late tonight.

She needed to leave the entire next day free.

At two in the morning, Su Baizhou stretched and prepared to sleep.

When the light in Fairy Senior Sister's room finally went out, Luo Ye climbed into bed as well, closed his eyes, and went to sleep.

He changed clothes and prepared to wash up.

Meanwhile, Luo Ye was only thinking that he had to be like Senior Sister in the future and go for a morning run every day to stay healthy, so he would not end up in poor health when he got old.

Of course, it definitely was not because he wanted to go on morning runs with Fairy Senior Sister every day.
