In the middle of the night, Luo Ye was awakened by the urge to pee. Half-asleep, he stumbled into the bathroom.
When he came out, a trace of confusion appeared on his face.
Where was this?
He was awake now, but not completely awake.
His head hurt, his body felt numb, and he ached all over.
The aftermath of drinking. Alcohol really was harmful.
Luo Ye shook his head, feeling another wave of sleepiness wash over him. Then he lay down on the living room floor and fell asleep sprawled out on his back.
Though the floor was hard, he slept soundly.
At seven-thirty the next morning, Su Baizhou came out of her room in pajamas. Just as she was about to wash up, she noticed someone lying outside the bathroom door.
She walked over and gently nudged Luo Ye with her foot.
Luo Ye rolled over and went right back to sleep.
Seeing this, Su Baizhou's beautiful brows furrowed slightly. She crouched down and began wildly taking pictures of Luo Ye's sleeping face.
After taking dozens of photos, she selected the ugliest one and sent it to Gu Mingxuan.
Very quickly, he replied with a surprised emoji, then asked: My dear disciple, what did my little brother do wrong to get kicked onto the floor? If you ask me, couples fight at the head of the bed and make up at the foot of it. There's really no need for this.
Su Baizhou looked speechless. If she had known, she would never have sent Gu Mingxuan that photo.
She had assumed that, as Luo Ye's older brother, Professor Gu would criticize his drinking. Who would have thought the two brothers were cut from the same cloth, focusing on something else entirely?
It seemed she would have to criticize him
