"Mr. Iguro, please don't push yourself!"
"Please go back and rest!"
A short girl with long hair came running out. She had a red butterfly bow clipped in her hair. She was Terauchi Kiyou, one of the Trio from the Butterfly Mansion in the future.
"I'm fine. I just broke a few bones and got a few extra cuts!" Iguro Obanai said impatiently. He pushed himself up against the doorframe, only to meet Hiruma's eyes. The two glared at each other in mutual disgust.
Iguro Obanai suddenly grinned. The bandages wrapped all over his body could not conceal his smugness in the slightest. He raised his middle finger and sneered,
"Isn't this the useless loser who couldn't even kill a Lower Rank?"
"I killed Lower Rank One not long ago. You're just as pathetic."
After showing off, Iguro Obanai felt refreshed in both body and mind. Even his broken bones did not hurt as much anymore.
Hearing that, Hiruma's mouth twitched. He returned the internationally friendly gesture and retorted,
"A rookie who got hurt killing a Lower Rank shouldn't be showing off!"
"What, want to spar?" Iguro Obanai refused to back down.
Shinobu Kocho, standing nearby, held her forehead and sighed. This pair of idiots spent every day either hurting each other or on their way to hurt each other, yet they were closer than real brothers.
"Obanai, get some proper rest!"
"We're leaving first. See you!"
Shinobu grabbed the eager Hiruma and fled the scene at lightning speed. She just wanted some time alone with him—why was that so difficult?
"Tch, what a boring pair." Iguro Obanai curled his lip and grumbled, "They'd be better off training more with that time."
"Um, Mr. Obanai, p-please... please go back to your room, o-okay?" Terauchi Kiyou's voice grew softer and softer.
